Matt Hopkins Benefit. On October 20th a benefit will be hosted by the family and friends of Matt Hopkins, a life long District 16 racer and family member. On May 16th Hopkins’ life was changed forever due to a mechanical failure while riding his dirt bike. After three months of hospitalization and several surgeries, this 25 year old father is left paralyzed from the neck down. Insurmountable medical bills and special needs equipment costs have driven us to ask for your support prayers, monetary contributions, auction item donations, and your attendance at this benefit are all greatly appreciated. We need your support to make this event a success. We are soliciting for donations of all kinds from local businesses. We would appreciate any contribution you could make to the event, including items for our silent or live auctions,
Announcements, personal stuff, and.... raffles, food, services or money. The benefit will be at the Railroad Station, 3pm-1am. 200 S Railroad St, Saukville, WI. Food, beverages, auctions, music and more are planned. The cut-off for a special rate to be reserved for lodging at the Kalahari Resort is coming quickly... October 10th.
