he stage was set for a great night of racing under the lights. The weather was perfect and as racers and spectators alike streamed through the gates, the track was prepped and ready to take on anyone willing. 270 plus entries and a good number of spectators had a lot to like about the evening. The first race consisted of the 250A class, and it started the evening off with excitement. There was a total of thirteen competitors in this class, and needless to say they gave everyone the show they came to see. #504 Jeremy Kress took first place honors in both motos with Kurtis McCabe in the second spot. Ty Tyrell from Illinois stayed up in the pack securing the third place position in both motos. There was a large group of riders in the 65Jr class - sixteen bikes on the line, ready to claim their shot at a trophy. The gate dropped and it was Fort Dodge, IA’s Gage Steburg jumping to the lead in both motos for the night’s overall win. Maliq McCaleb gave chase in both motos to eventually finish second. Jada Murphy finished third in the first moto, just edging out Isaac Moyle. Moyle didn’t finish the second moto, and Jarrett Robinson stepped up from a first moto fifth to beat Murphy in moto two. Murphy’s 3-4 was still good for third overall ahead of Robinson. At intermission there was the 85cc Buddy Race which was a great time. There

were a total of ten teams competing in this special event and all finished, so all said and done - everyone was a winner having taken part in the fun class with friends and family members. Vocal spectators made plenty of noise for the Quad 90 Open riders as ten riders hit the track. With great racing, the first place trophy went to Sky Volkamer after winning both motos. Zachary Lindley beat Taron Liebe across the line for second in each moto as Tristen Liebe went 5-4 for fourth overall ahead of Cedar Rapids’ own Luke White (45).
