Both of the 85cc classes had some great racing. In moto one of the (12-15) class, Austin Griffis, Kraye Loft, Isaiah Shelton, and Joshua Taylor had an intense battle. Loft was out of the gates the fastest, but soon passed by Griffis. Loft stayed right on Griffis' rear tire, and Shelton was on Lofts'. The three held these positions for about half the moto, then Taylor made his move. Taylor opened up the throttle on his Kawasaki and zipped past Shelton. Loft held Taylor back until the last lap. Once Taylor passed Loft, he was after Griffis. Taylor pulled up a bike’s length or less behind Griffis. Griffis had to feel Taylor breathing down his back, but he kept his throttle pulled back and rode flawlessly to the checkered line. In the second moto, Griffis rode in the lead with Taylor pushing him from the start. These two battled the entire moto. It looked like Griffis was going to take another win, but he went down in a corner close to the finish line! Taylor was right there and rode on by. Griffis got up quickly, but the race was already lost at that point. What a race!! In the 85cc (9-11) class, Lane Wienhorst and Evan Faucett were the fastest riders. Wienhorst had the lead briefly in the first moto, but Faucett got a feel for the track and started pulling the throttle on his Suzuki, passing Wienhorst. After several position changes in the first few laps, Nicholas Hunt worked

his way into third, followed by Thaine Boehme. In moto two, Faucett rode even faster, and took the lead from the gates. Wienhorst rode solid again in second, followed by Hunt. The Mini Quad riders put on a good show. In moto one Logan Stanfield, sporting a new Cobra, shot out of the gates and had a decent lead. Drake Edwards and Brogan Guyer were next in line. Stanfield maintained his lead most of the moto before his machine broke. Guyer was there to take the lead, getting a lot of pressure from Edwards and Davison Emery. In the last lap, Edwards pulled ahead of Guyer, but his quad broke down right after the whoops, just before the finish line! In moto two, all the riders were back on the gate. Edwards, still feeling some of the adrenaline from his first William Patton won victory, took the lead. the 125cc 2-stroke class.

Davison Emery, Jordanne Stichter and Brogan Guyer weren't far behind. Guyer broke down in the first lap, and was a DNF. Then Emery's chain came off, giving Edwards some breathing room. Abby Bowyer rode past Stichter late in the race, for second place.
