istrict 22 racing was back at Sully this year promoted by Riverside Raceway. It was an exciting day being back at Moto-X Raceway! You could sense the anticipation of all the riders during practice, waiting to hit the track. The first race on the gate lined up for the +30B/C riders, and as the gate dropped they bulleted toward the first corner. Mark Busby took the early lead with Jason Byers in second as Michael Tremmel and Craig Dostal were right there as well. Throughout the first lap Tim Mohror gained on Dostal and made the pass for fourth, setting his sites on Tremmel. With the last lap Byers had a setback to fourth, which moved Tremmel to second and Mohror to third. Second moto Byers took the lead with Tremmel second and Mohror in third. Mohror took over the second spot. Tremmel dropped back a couple spots with Busby and Dostal moving up. Mohror was closing in the gap on Byers and on the last lap Byers was feeling the heat. Mohror made the move on Byers and wasn’t going to let him get back the lead before the finish. Tremmel got past Dostal and was on a mission, moving into third past Busby to re-assume his lost positioning for the finish. Overall finishes for the day were Mohror, Tremmel, Busby and Byers. Getting the opening lead in +40A was Robbie Palmer and

Daniel Breeden. Breeden was on a mission to get past Palmer. With each corner approach it was close – side-by-side action until Breeden managed to get past him. Breeden tried to pull away but Palmer was right back on him for the challenge. Palmer got past him again for the lead as neither one let up keeping the gap tight until the end when Palmer held on. Second moto Breeden took the opening lead with Palmer not far behind. Again, the great competition between the two made for an exciting race. Palmer continued on Breeden’s tail doing his best to close the gap between them, with rain now adding to the challenge. With persistence, Palmer made it past around and finished with the win. Overall it was Palmer, Breeden, Robin Graham and Mark Baumert. Eleven riders in +40B/C were led by Nicole Weis early. Then Jeffrey Fisher led with Weis for part of the first lap be-

fore Weis retook the lead. Lauren Vanwyk worked into third with Gary Schultz in fourth. Fisher moved up again, then pulled away from Weis, picking up the pace. Weis now had to deal with Schultz on her tail. Schultz and Vanwyk made their way past Weis to take the second and third spot finishes for the first moto. Second moto had Fisher in the lead with Weis in second and Jerry Denniston in third. Fisher
