It was harder than getting the lead right away.” Hayden Zurn made him work for the win big time, as they swapped the lead twice in that final lap before Lange took the front position for good. Lange also won the 65cc class earlier in the program, beating Zurn, Loyal Prach, Devin Massie and five other riders. One of the last races of the evening was for the +40 class riders. Malone, WI’s Todd Lefeber got out front early and went on for the big win. Not just any win, but his first ever. As he

carried the checkered flag around the track after, you could see his smile... no hiding how happy he was. Lefeber, “I just started racing a year ago, and last year I was always towards the back, and never in the front. I had a lot of help from other riders around me, getting the bike set up and learning. This is so fun, and I have met the greatest people out here flat track racing, it is simply awesome. and I am really happy.” Talk about a perfect way to wrap up a great night of racing... nothing is better than talking with a young rider excited about
