She explains that for time immemorial ,beach people have talked in the sand. ‘Out camping, the old people sit around the fire, yarn ‘bout before-time’, and draw in the sand. They talk about family ways, how you’re related, which family side you’re from, and who you can go with. They know country for everyone too - land country, sea country.’
