Iris Paper Folding

Challenge Level 1

Come learn this simple and gratifying technique of paper folding to create greeting cards This technique is called ‘iris’ as it draws the eye to the center of the completed work . A variety of techniques will be offered to embellish your creation with simple tangles, glitter and gel pens . Students will complete at least 1 card and be provided with supplies to make at least one additional card Materials included.

Intro To Relief Printmaking

Challenge Level 1-2

Learn one of the most accessible and meditative forms of printmaking-Relief! Working with Linoleum, students will design, carve and print designs, which can be used repeatedly to decorate or stand alone as beautiful works of art Practice transferring drawings to linoleum, thinking in reverse, practicing safe carving, working with multiple colors and more .
