ABOUT THE COLLEGE DMI College of Engineering approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai was established in the year 2001 by the DMI Society under the vibrant guidance of Rev.Fr.Dr. J. E. Arulraj. The vision of this Institution is to promote self-disciplined academic excellence and to mould the young community in pursuance of making a better life for humanity through Engineering and Technology. The institution has earned a good reputation for its technical expertise, commendable facilities and good discipline. The Institution offers 6 UG courses and 5 PG courses in various disciplines. All the departments have well equipped laboratories in addition to the common facilities. The college is situated in the Chennai - Bangalore National Highway and is 8 Kms away from the Chennai city. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2002 with a sanctioned strength of 60 and was later increased to a total of 120 in the year 2011. The department has dedicated and well experienced faculty members in all fields of specialization. The department is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art laboratories.
