ABOUT Chelmsford Arts and Cultural Festival is a brand new annual community led festival in its inaugural year. Taking over Chelmsford City Centre for 10 days during the end of June, we are working together to raise the profile of our community, celebrating its distinctive, rich heritage using Science, Music, Dance, Visual and other forms of Performing Arts.

Strengthening cohesion, forging a sense of identity, and fostering civic pride is at the heart of everything we (the Festival team) do. We will promote our diverse community while providing equal opportunities to participate in arts and culture, boosting the local economy, and improving access to arts education, local health, and wellbeing. With your help, we hope to grow the Festival year on year taking inspiration from other successful grass roots celebrations such as Brighton, Edinburgh Fringe, and the Manchester International Festival. For more info about the Festival Team on our Website: www.chelmsfordfestival.org
