GOLF COURSE Designed by William Bell, Sr. in 1957 the two Torrey Pines’ layouts offer spectacular views and plenty of challenges for even the most discriminating golfer. Redesigned by Rees Jones in 2001, and subsequently selected to host the 2008 U.S. Open Championship, the South Course measures 7,051yards and is rated 75.3/137 slope from the blue tees. The friendlier North Course measures 6,644 yards with and has a rating of 72.3/128 slope. Both courses have multiple tee settings and walking is permitted.
