La Purisima Mission State Historic Park

History lives at La Purisima. The Mission is the most extensively restored mission in the state. In addition to the restored original buildings, the nearly 2,000 acre park is home to 25 miles of hiking trails, a modern Visitor Center and Exhibit Hall, and livestock. Equestrians are also welcome, though there are no local horse rentals. 2295 Purisima Road

Los Olivos is a wonderfully charming small town rich in California history with wine tasting, art galleries, upscale shops and tasty restaurants, featuring fresh, local ingredients. The town center is the iconic flagpole and Victorian homes and businesses surround the community hub. There are lavender farms and orchards to visit. Ranches and horse trails surround Los Olivos. LOMPOC VALLEY AREA The area offers and abundance of outdoor and indoor activities. Walking, hiking and biking trails are all around. Skydive at the local airport. There are wineries and breweries for tasting; flower fields to visually enjoy and a state-of-the-art aquatics facility. Take a tour of town to see the “City of Murals in the Valley of Flowers.”
