FOOD

IS

MEDICINE

GETTING PERSONAL Cannabis Cooking Magazine Cooking with cannabis is cooking for personalized medicine. Once you cook with cannabis and consume it, you are eating an edible. Edibles are cannabis infused foods. They are made to deliver cannabis into the body without smoking and vaping. Your body can also absorb benefits from cannabis through topical application. Cannabis Cooking Magazine™ shares information about creating your own quality edibles and topicals customizable for wellbeing. The trick to making really good edibles or topicals for medicinal support starts with choosing quality ingredients, like clean green certified cannabis, and knowing the potency of your cannabis infused essentials. There are many compounds found in plants of the cannabis genus. They interact with your body's endocannabinoid (ECS) system and with your brain's cannabinoid receptors. The two most discussed cannabinoids are CBD (Cannabidiol) and THC. (Tetrahydrocannabinol).

CBD & THC CBD is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid known for medical and therapeutic benefits. THC is psychoactive known for it's euphoric properties along with medicinal and therapeutic benefits. People often refer to the 'entourage effect'. That is a cooperative relationship between THC, CBD and terpenes reaching full potential. It's important to know the benefits you seek from incorporating cannabis in your life. That will determine strain choice and potency of the recipes your make. Finding the right balance is your personal responsibility. Test kits are available for home and commercial use that verify cannabinoid potency. Make sure to consult a medical provider prior to incorporating cannabis in your life,

STRAINS=FUNCTION Cannabis is personalized medicine. Each strain has it's unique effect on the individual user. It's up to each user to understand their body and how cannabis strains effect them. Many people keep a journal tracking dose, strain, delivery method and effects. Dosing low and slow in cannabis exploration is key to finding the perfect strain supporting preferred wellness.
