Lee Auvenshine Waxahachie ISD
William â€œLeeâ€? Auvenshine began his career in educational admin-
istration on July 7, 2014, leaving behind his position as Ellis County Assistant District Attorney. As Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources and Legal Services for the ISD, Lee has become extremely knowledgeable in school law, teacher certifications, and school budget. He strives to ensure that WISD hires the best educators and administrators in Ellis County and perhaps North Texas to teach the youth of Waxahachie. Lee is a member of the Waxahachie Lions Club and has served as a past President. He is active in the West Ellis County United Way, serving as Vice Chairman and on the Board of Directors. Lee is also on the Board of Directors of the Ellis County Teachers and Employees Federal Credit Union and the Waxahachie ISD Education Foundation. He is also the Scholarship Chairman for the Education Foundation as well as the Leadership Committee of First United Methodist Church.
