MAINSTAGE FRIDAY, SEPT 30TH COMPANY GRAND 5PM

MOSELY WOTTA 7:30PM Chicago born Oregon based artist MOsley WOtta (MOWO) is an undeniable talent. A consummate creative, his works have been featured internationally as a speaker, performer, poet, visual artist and educator for over a decade. MOsley WOtta is a former slam poetry champion for the state of Oregon. He is a Bend Native who rocks every stage he stands on. Welcome back to Fall Fest, MOWO.

PRECIOUS BYRD 9:30PM

SATURDAY, OCT 1ST SUNDAY, OCT 2ND MARK ALAN 11AM

An 8-piece exhilarating band, who perform a range of Swing and Nuevo-New Orleans style originals, along with contemporary favorites. As the house band for Bend Burlesque, we showcase beautiful women, comedy, music, and any other local talent lucky enough to perform with us.

Precious Byrd is a 4 piece high energy dance/rock band from beautiful Bend, OR. Featuring Corey Parnell on vocals, Casey Parnell on lead guitar, Michael Summers on drums, and grammy award winning artist Lonnie Chapin on bass. Their fantastic renditions of modern and classic hits, along with a number of high energy originals, are sure to get you on your feet.

Oregon Street Between Wall and Bond

Though acoustic in nature, Mark’s music is strangely expansive - it’s original in sound, soulful and groove oriented. His presence is warm and unpretentious. Poetic, yet simply profound, here’s someone faithfully doing what he’s supposed to do. He performs with that conviction night-in and night-out. When you see him, when you hear him at work, you’ll understand why friends are talking - about ‘the real’ Mark Alan.

VAUDEVILLE ETIQUETTE 1PM Vaudeville Etiquette serves up psych-folk with grit, passion, and come-hither wit. The Seattle quintet fills timeless melodies with modern lyrics, heady harmonies, and a potent classic rock chemistry. Think Stevie Nicks and Ryan Adams on a 3-day bender with The Allman Brothers. Their live performances are magnetic and provocative. Duo lead vocals and a wailing pedal steel dive from energetic anthems to wistful ballads and back again with psychedelia and fearless on-stage improvisation. “Seattle music’s bright new face.” Charles Cross, The Seattle Times

LOWER 48 3PM The Lower 48 are a 3 piece rock and roll band from the West Coast of America. The trio consists of multi instrumentalists Ben Braden, Sarah Parson, and Nicky Sadler, who all share the lead singing role. They are a powerful trio that focuses heavily on rhythm, three-part harmony, and classic pop hooks. Over the last year of extensive touring The Lower 48 has played on NYLON magazines summer tour, had their song Come Awake air in a Super Bowl Ad, graced the stage at Summer Fest in Wisconsin and played a sold out show at The Roxy Theater in Los Angeles. They have also opened for many artists, including Chk Chk Chk and Mason Jennings.

HOT CLUB OF BEND 11AM The Hot Club of Bend features an international lineup of musicians collaborating in the tradition of Gypsy Jazz, Hot Swing, Bossanova, and Blues. Hailing from the heart of Cascadia, this group brings energy and innovation to the stage with every performance.

TANCRED 1PM Though technically the band’s third full-length, Out of the Garden is Tancred’s first truly cohesive record: a mission statement that underscores the “power” in power-pop and is punctuated by lyrics as razor-sharp as the hooks. Out of the Garden represents doing what you want, what you need, without letting anything or anyone stop you — and smiling while you do it.

JESSICA HERNANDEZ AND THE DELTAS 3PM Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas are a wide-ranging, high-energy rock & roll band from Detroit. Their mercurial, often gritty sound reflects all of the Motor City’s musical traditions as well as some outside its geographical and multicultural boundaries. In its thoroughly modern, driving mix are traces of Motown, tough vintage R&B, Latin grooves, raucous surf, neo-psych, roots rock, cinema jazz, and retro ‘60s girl group pop.

TOM VANDENAVOND W/LARRY AND HIS FLASK 5PM

PRECIOUS BYRD

He is part John Prine and a bit of Mark Twain. Tom Vandenavond is a contemporary ghost with a wisdom in his music that exceeds his years. His sound embodies the nature of solitary travel and the inevitable connections made from a life on the road. He has torn through his Midwest roots and created an auditory imprint of the highways and byways, truck stops and roadsides of the afforded white line spectacles of the American construct. Don’t miss Vandenavond with Larry and His Flask!

JESSICA HERNANDEZ AND THE DELTAS

LARRY AND HIS FLASK TOM VANDENAVOND CHERVONA 7PM

Mixing together taste and passion of the best Gypsy, Russian, Ukrainian, klezmer and Balkan musical traditions, Chervona brings the fire of Eastern European carnivals to the land of America. With their authenticity and genuine fire Chervona has stolen many hearts. Shining with their brass section and capturing soul with the traditional sounds of the old world and new interpretations, Chervona transforms a celebration into an ultimate party!

CRAZY 8’S 9PM The Crazy 8s were formed in Corvallis, Oregon as “The Cheeks” in 1982.[1] However, because a UK band had already used this name, the band changed its name to “The Sweet Cheeks.” During their earliest days, they were notorious for their raucous frat house party gigs and mostly covered songs by their favorite bands. In Rolling Stone magazine, the Crazy 8s were defined as one of “nine bands to watch” in 1982. In addition, the Crazy 8s played alongside several well-known bands such as The Clash, the Violent Femmes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sonic Youth, The Three O’Clock, and the Beach Boys between 1984 and 1985.

NOMADS 3PM All experienced performers in various musical genres, members of Nomads organized originally to focus their shared passion for the music of the Middle East, Mediterranean and Balkans. They developed their cohesion playing for local belly dance groups and through regular rehearsals and jam sessions. “It’s a very simple idea, but also very rich,” says band leader Miguel de Alonso, known around Bend for his flamenco guitar performances. “We want to give you glimpses of other people, places and times through the music and the dance. We want to share with our neighbors the special aesthetics of music from this part of the world, music that can be energetic, but also so elegant, sweet and soft.” The band’s performances feature many authentic instruments like: the violin, oud, rababa, bouzouki, guitar, baglama, clarinet, darbuka and drums.

SARAH BEAN Sarah Bean moved to NYC at the age of 18 with the dream of becoming a poet, and ended up living with five ambitious young professional visual artists. She began selling her work on the streets of Soho in 1998. Sarah received training as an apprentice for several years to 20th Century surrealist collage artist Roderick Slater. She studied Literature and Philosophy at The University Of Chicago. Sarah Bean came to book carvings by way of training in mathematics and physics, a passion for music, a friendship with literature, and a commitment to philosophy. These interests have a tendency to pull the imagination into different directions, in collage however, she found a format in which these fields of interest can work together to speak for her.

Marina Kessler, Marina Kessler Jewelry The sterling silver and 14k jewelry created is an example of the complexity that can be formed by simple geometric shapes. Playful is the theme! Only genuine stones are used.
