Each and every day, Houstonians are becoming more passionate about Buffalo Bayou and all it has to offer. Along with this growing interest and enthusiasm has come overwhelming generosity from Houston’s leading foundations, corporations and philanthropists.

— S ignificant progress was made towards completion of the Buffalo Bayou Park $58 million capital campaign. — B BP also participated in the collaborative Give 5 to Conserve Houston campaign and the Houston Marathon’s Run for a Reason program. —A record number 500 canoes and kayaks raced to the finish line in the 2013 Buffalo Bayou Regatta. Now in its 41st year, the event has become Houston’s “rite of spring.” — B BP’s 2013 Buffalo Bayou Ball, Green & Growing, honored River Oaks Garden Club and The Garden Club of Houston for their contributions to horticulture, conservation and civic beautification.
