Above: Sue Brougham followed up a top ten spot in the previous day’s Petplan Equine Prix St Georges Silver with a win in the Petplan Equine Intermediate I Silver Championship. Sue purchased her 18-yearold Dutch gelding as a 60th birthday present to herself, and trainer Richard Barrett has told her to aim for Grand Prix.

Right: Irish young rider and Hartpury student Lily Kelly took a home win with High Boy Van De C on 69.46%. The 11-year-old son of Jazz is known as Coco at home, and is owned by trainer Sara Gallop. At 18.3hh, Lily describes him as a ‘gentle giant’.
