ast year LS2 produced three million helmets and aims to stay ahead in 2018 with a relentless programme of innovation, with fresh designs from its European HQ in Barcelona. New for 2018, the Vortex takes LS2’s range of flip-front helmets to the next level, combining an ultra-light carbon fibre shell with aggressive sport styling and Bluetooth compatibility. Produced using multiple layers of exclusive wide-weave carbon fibre – the material used in the aeronautical industry, Formula 1 and MotoGP – it weighs only 1300g, which is exceptionally light for a flip-front helmet. Available in XS-XXL, there are three external shell sizes, for a close, comfortable fit, and the Pinlock anti-fog insert and drop-down sun shield add to the quality specification and feel. However, the most impressive aspect of the Vortex is the price – just £299.99 SRP. And for riders who want to stay connected, the Vortex is available ready-fitted with with the LINKIN Riderpal 3 Bluetooth communication system for £399.99 SRP. Also LRP 3 Bluetooth ready, for wireless connectivity on the move, is LS2’s modular Valiant, with its 180-degree, swing-around chin bar. Doubly certified as both a full-face and an open-face helmet, so it’s legal to ride in open-face mode, the Valiant is now available in four eye-catching graphics, including retro-styled white/black/red, contemporary black/orange/chrome and matt black/H-V yellow. Pinlock ready, with
drop-down sun shield and Dynamic Flow-through ventilation, the new Valiant graphics retail at just £249.99. There are also new full-face and open-face models, like the openface Spitfire, as well as refreshed graphics throughout the range, including the popular Pioneer adventure-sport helmet.
