Please make checks payable to The City of Oakley (Return check fee of $57.00 will be automatically charged to the liable guardian or participant of said activity) As the parent/guardian of a minor participating in the City of Oakley’s Recreation Programs, Field Trip and Services, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury. This Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is intended to discharge in advance the City of Oakley, the Oakley Union School District, the Liberty Union High School District and its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with myself or my child/ward’s participation in said activity, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above. It is further agreed that this Waiver, Release and Indemnity Agreement is to be binding on my heirs and assignees. PRE-REGISTRATION Please register one week prior to the class start date. Each class has a minimum enrollment requirement to cover the cost of the program. Early registration is recommended.
REFUNDS If you are not satisfied with a program you have attended please contact the program supervisor for refund information. YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP Scholarships are available for income-qualified youth who reside in Oakley. Applications are available online and at City Hall.

If so, this class is for you! This is an interactive, online course with videos, animated driving scenarios, and sample test questions. CRAZY CHEMISTRY Age: 6-11 years old Location: 1250 O'Hara Ave Instructor: Mad Science We’ll explore and create exciting chemical reactions, make colorful concoctions, and bubbling brews in this four day camp! Amaze yourself with magical temperature changing baggie science or growing ghost crystals. Study the chemistry involved in not-so-simple things like chalk and soap, and even experiment with the chemistry used by artists, spies, and detectives! Chemists bring home a project each day.

This basketball class offers players the opportunity for 3 on 3 or 4 on 4, half-court games without the commitment of a league. Have fun while getting a great aerobic workout! Some blackout dates for school functions apply. Pre-registration is required.
This class is perfect for seniors or those with injuries or challenges. Props such as blankets, pillows, and chairs will be used in order to support the body into deep relaxation. Stretching, breath work, and modifications will improve strength and flexibility. Everyone can benefit from the practice of gentle yoga!

BOCCE BALL Age: adults Location: Creekside Park Instructor: Jesse Rocha Bocce is a popular team sport with an emphasis on FUN! Get together with old friends and make new ones in this social activity. Teams consist of 4 – 8 players and will play two games per week, three if time permits. Games are scheduled for Tuesday or Thursday evenings for eight weeks.
