How to make a Christmas Garland

Make your very own Christmas Garland

“Here’s how”

Requirements

1. Oasis 2. Foliage/Greenery 3. Chosen decoration

1. Oasis Foam Ring - Can be bought at many haberdashery stores

2. Foliage:- e.g. Ivy, Eucalyptus, Spruce (all of this was foraged from mum’s garden.)

3. Decoration:- Flowers or xmas baubles/decorations of your choice

Step 1

Soak the Oasis ring in water until it is completely soaked. You will know when it is ready as it will be a lot heavier than when it was dry (this can take upto 30 minutes)

Step 2

Start greening up the garland ring with your choice of foliage by pushing the stalks in to the Oasis foam. Work around the ring covering the inner and outer areas until the ring foam is no longer visible. (It needs to be quite full, see picture above.)

Step 3

Now you can add flowers or xmas decorations of your choice to finish off the design. I have chosen to group my flowers, but please have fun creating your own style.
