BLOUDER How would you define yourself as a person? Creative. I love to creative. Outfits, concepts, stories are things I always try to display in either the way I dress to the pictures I take in shoots. I’m always trying to create for myself or other people. Tell us about your career as a model. How were you discovered? Well, I noticed one of my old high school classmates, Brandon Leigh, was an upcoming photographer in the DC/Maryland area and I’ve always inquired about taking nice pictures. I didn’t look at myself as a model at the time and Brandon guided me through significant poses and angles to make sure he got good shots. A few days later, he posted me on his page and got recognition and a repost from H&M. From there, other photographers started to reach out to me and I did the same. To this day, Brandon will always be someone I appreciate. I will say that if it wasn’t for him having faith in me, I wouldn’t be answering these questions in this interview. In your own eyes, what was the moment that your career really took off? When I first got published to Cole Magazine’s “All Black Everythang” issue, along with Brandon. I modeled a Miloandres suit, provided by a friend, and also former high school classmate, Camilo Andres Vargas-Lesmes. We did an on -the-fly shoot at the MGM located in Baltimore, Maryland. I submitted photos to Cole and they accepted them and from there I was

hungry for more. I wanted to improve my technique and vision within the industry. What was the biggest change in your life after entering into modeling industry? My scheduling and personal relationships. As I grew into my craft, I was balancing that along with two jobs and pursuing my undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland. I found myself having to plan out shoots months in advance while trying to make sure my studies weren’t affected by my desire to model. There’s many that don’t understand the pursuit of a passion, especially when it comes to this industry. People come and go when you are focused on building a brand. How did you get involved with fitness and muscle building? My friend Jeremy started working with me since we both lived by each other and I had a desire to build muscle and become leaner. We would text each other when we each were free and would link up either during the day or late at night to work out 3-4 times a week. Even when he moved away, I would still continue going to the gym and work out. What does your current training look like? What do you like most about it? Currently I’ve been focused on upper body to build more muscle. I do upper body twice a week, then rotate lower body/core the following week. I like it because I can control how much muscle I want to gain. I’m comfortable with my

body so whenever I want to stop, I can. What does your nutrition (eating) plan look like? Before I was modeling, my diet was all over the place. Now, I focus mainly on eating a lot of meats and protein with consistent intake of water, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Eating frequent, small portions of meals has helped me maintain a fast metabolism. I’ll cheat sometimes and eat something sweet once in a while. What’s a typical week like for you? I work every day except Sundays. Sundays are the day where I either do shoots or go out to a social/ networking event. I also intern at a local consignment store so after class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’ll work there also. Tell us something that's true, that almost nobody agrees with you on. Dragon Ball Z is the greatest show of all time. EVER. Give us 5 facts about you, people may not know. 1) One of my inspirations is my best friend of ten years, Mikey. He’s seen my growth from the ground up and his work ethic is what keeps me going. 2) My favorite genres of music are Afrobeat, Dancehall and Soca. 3) Favorite clothing brands are Supreme & Off-White 4) I lived in New York for 15 years before moving to Maryland 5) I dance on my free time

BLOUDER What’s next for you? I have aspirations to go to casting calls in New York for New York Fashion Week in the future and I’d like to further my modeling career by joining an agency. I’m going to continue to go to school, as I’m applying to law school in the future. I will continue to grind out and be consistent in my artistry. I am excited for what the future holds.
