Kronos Psycho Strings Sample Library with Program Presets Bank for Korg Kronos. The dark side of the orchestra. From scary to surprising this sample library provides string sections and full orchestral phrases for intense atmospheres. Very useful for film soundtrack, intro and outro, interlude and unusal special effects. A 115 ready-to-use Pad Program Presets soundbank is included. They are perfectly made for instant use in concerned music productions.
General Controller and FX Assignment And a decent Controller Assignment system allows a perfect performance control. The standardized Controller programming for Control Knobs 1-8, S1 and S2 switches, Ribbon, Joystick works identical for each Preset. SW1 always acts as Octave Down button, the Ribbon controls the brilliance, Realtime Knob 5 is the Attack Time modulator, Knob 8 allows to adjust the Effects Intensity and so on.
Each Program Preset provides the sound with this standard Controller assignment which is the same for the all Program Presets, plus a ready-to-use Drum Pattern and one KARMA setting. SW1: Octave Down SW2: Ribbon Lock Ribbon: Brilliance Knob 1: Cutoff Knob 2: Resonance Knob 3: Envelope Intensity Knob 4: Release Time Knob 5: Attack Time Knob 6: Decay Time Knob 7: Sustain Level Knob 8: Effects Intensity (FX Send 2) Joystick forward: Vibrato, Tremolo Joystick backward: Tone Modulation Joystick left: 2 Semitones down Joystick right: 2 semitones up Additional sound control (details depends on the individual Preset: Keyboard velocity, Aftertouch, fingered Portamento, pre-setted Effect FX Send 1.
Program Presets Notes The Program Preset names are always descriptive, that helps to locate a sound for a specific demand even by it’s name. All sounds are programmed with the same Reverb Hall to make the impression that they are in the same concert hall. The Reverb Intensitiy can be controlled with Real Time Knob 8. An additional Delay Effect is pre-setted on MFX1, just push the On/Off Button on the related Menu Page. Reverse sound: To play a sound backwards check the Rev. box on the OSC/Pitch Menu in the OSC Basic page. KARMA and Drums is pre-setted for all Program Presets.
