Electric Saz A terrific instrument! Built with marvelous materials and custom pickups, recorded with Marshall valve amp and two 12" cabinets plus legandary Neumann microphones this is a really unique sound for everyone who is looking for a very characterful and also still ethnical instrument to enhance a music production by adding this timbre. Useful for contemporary pop music, film soundtrack, folk, experimental. The original Saz is common in Turkey and it's sound is very typical for the folk music in this area. As a kind of lute it comes with a string and metallic tone, usually played by virtuos and very skilled players. Usually it is a long-scale neck and the frets are placed at variable positions to allow even quarter-tones. The recorded Saz is a custom created instrument with built-in Equalizer, several switches to combine the two humbucker pickups located at the neck and the bridge as well as volume and tone knobs to create various sounds. The Electric Saz sample library provides several different sounds we have taken from this instrument and they are a welcome additional flavour for any ethnopop music and everywhere when a characterful plucked string sound is on demand. A legendary synth created by John Bowen and David Smith. Absolutely famous for it´s unique timbres, warmness and sonic power. We programmed the very typical presets on a Rev 3.3 version especially for the use in the Wusikstaton. Having this we sampled them carefully to make the sounds close to the original when using them with the sampleplayer. The Z1
With the Z1 synthesizer Korg created a mighty physical modeling instrument. Instead of common oscillators this synthesizer works with tweakable instrument models. The resulting sounds are really unique and we programmed a lot with this instrument. Then we took a wide range collection of pads, leads and basses and sampled all of them in stereo. You can load the L and R multisamples seperately, layer them (up to 4) or use them in stereo by assigning the concerned L and R SoundSets to two waveform slots.
