Your child will be learning in a purpose-built and stimulating facility nestled within extensive gently undulating banks of grass that lead to the enchanting Forest School site. Your child will benefit from the breadth of books within our library, an IT suite and music area. Each classroom benefits from its own outside learning environment. Remember how exciting it was as a child when a lesson was outside? The way the senses were awakened, curiosity sparked and learning was fun? Forest School engenders that feeling. Your child engages with the natural world where learning and play become intertwined. Children develop an understanding of, and a respect for, the natural environment, offering opportunities for physical activity, freedom and movement whilst promoting a sense of well-being. What better way to kindle your child’s interest in the sciences than by testing different ways to make a waterproof den? At the same time they will learn to assess risk and develop skills to manage new situations. Your child will develop resilience, confidence and curiosity in equal measure.
