adults could spray paint the bottles and cups and let them do the rest). They also have the possibility of being customized to an individual’s taste and available supplies. They can even be customized for holdais and events. For Christmas you could add candycanes or Santa hats, for winter add stocking hats and scarves, for Valentine's Day you could add hearts. Supplies Needed: 

Small yogurt cups and/or smoothie bottles (for this project Yoplait Fiber One cups and Dannon DanActive smoothie bottles were used)

Black spray paint for plastic

White acrylic paint

Black acrylic paint or fine tipped black permanent marker

Paintbrushes

Yellow (or orange) craft foam for feet and beaks

Black craft foam for wings

Hot glue gun and glue sticks (or fast drying craft glue)

Scissors

Pen

White pencil

Newspaper, or other table cover

Directions: 1. First find some yogurt cups and/or smoothie bottles, remove any labels (on the bottles) and clean them thoroughly and let dry 2. Take the bottles and/or cups outside and turn upside down on newspaper, spray paint with black spray paint made for plastic. Let that dry. Repeat. 3. Once the yogurt containers are dry, draw on the body design with a pen or pencil, a white pencil works well. Then you can easily paint over it with white paint. 4. Paint the white body onto the yogurt container. It may take a couple of coats of paint to get a good solid white body. 5. While you are waiting for your white paint to dry, cut your feet and beaks out from the yellow (or orange) craft foam. Trace feet and beak designs onto foam with a pen or marker then cut out.
