Penguin Crafts

By Wenona Napolitano Many recycling centers do not accept the type of plastic that yogurt cups are made from so many crafty greenies are always looking for something creative to do with the yogurt containers. How about turning some into penguins?

Small yogurt cups and smoothie bottles can easily become cute penguins. Just paint the bottles and cups with black spray paint for plastic, let that dry and then paint the white bodies with a brush and acrylic paint. Craft foam can be used to make the wings, feet and beaks, black for the wings, yellow for the beaks and feet then glue them on with a hot glue gun (tacky craft glue would also work).
