But Patience and Faust are featured in the next Bad Witch book, and that does have a cozy Christmas scene. Though she’s cast iron on the outside, Patience is a softie on the inside. She loves A Christmas Story and It’s A Wonderful Life, so everyone ends up in the TV room together for a little popcorn and family bonding. As an author, I wonder what my characters would want for Christmas. Patience and Faust would be hard to buy for. Patience is a summoner, and she deals in demons. It’s a profitable business, so she already has pretty much everything she needs or wants, including a fast, shiny car. Her sweetheart Faust is even worse, because as a faerie he can just snap his fingers and poof! Instant stuff! Impossible to shop for the faerie who can conjure anything. But Patience’s demon minion Harvey, now him I could shop for. Sure he’s a demon who looks like a six foot tall skinless rabbit, but he’s also a gamer. He would love most of the stuff on Think Geek. Harvey would probably also appreciate a new video game, because he needs something to keep him busy while Patience and Faust are off spending time together.
