THE LITIGATION ISSUE

SAMEER M. ALIFARAG is an associate and a member of Pryor Cashman’s Bankruptcy, Reorganization + Creditors’ Rights Group and the Corporate Trust practice. Sameer represents a diverse array of clients, including trustees, creditors, investors and secured and unsecured lenders in complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, outof-court restructurings, assignments for the benefits of creditors and other distressed situations. He has particular experience in representing default-side corporate trust clients and sophisticated creditors.

THEODORE M. BECKER is Co-Chair of McDermott’s ERISA Litigation Team and a Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. WILLIAM J. HUBBARD is a partner in Thompson Hine’s Product Liability practice. GEORGE L. LANKFORD

was a law clerk for a Texas Court of Appeals Chief Justice Austin McCloud and U.S. District Judge David Below, Jr before going into private practice for defense law firms back in the 1980s. His practice has been focused on litigation in large and small law firms in the areas of insurance law, construction defect and personal injury defense. George orally argued and prevailed in the Texas Supreme Court on seminal insurance law decision in Northern County Mutual v. Davalos regarding when an insurance carrier can control the defense of its insured’s case.

SETH H. LIEBERMAN,a partner and chair of Pryor Cashman’s Bankruptcy, Reorganization + Creditors’ Rights Group and co-chair of the Corporate Trust Practice, is an experienced restructuring attorney and litigator who represents clients ranging from indenture trustees and agents to distressed debt funds, trade creditors and landlords. Seth helps lead one of the most well-known and highly regarded default-side corporate trust practices, and he has an active creditor-side bankruptcy practice.

ASHLEY C. PACK is a partner in the Charleston, West Virginia office of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. She has significant experience representing employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including employment litigation, sexual harassment investigations, unfair labor practice and union representation cases. KARA E. SHEA, Practice Group Leader of Butler Snow’s Labor & Employment practice group, has been practicing law for 25 years, helping clients to develop and implement employment policies, assisting clients in conducting internal audits and investigations and counseling clients on all aspects of employment law compliance.
