Amazon announced its rollout of Amazon One devices that use a customer's palm prints for identification and payment at physical retail stores. The devices are presently available for use in Seattle locations for Amazon Go stores, and the company wants to expand it to any retailer willing to partner with the mega-giant. Instead of being identified by an account on their mobile phones, customers can simply walk into the store, scan their palm, shop for products, and the purchases will be automatically charged to a credit card.
If Amazon's use of palm prints for identification and payment systems sounds like something you have read in the Book of Revelation you are correct. The Book of Revelation warns that during the Tribulation every person will be required to accept a mark in their right hand which will be necessary for commerce. It begins with starting our day with our minds on Him! It means giving Him the first portion of our day's schedule - spending time in His Presence and His Word. It involves us acknowledging Him in all things, throughout our day; constantly allowing Him to direct our steps. It's walking through the day with a heart in love with Him, taking pleasure in pleasing Him, and delighting in His closeness as He whispers wisdom and encouragement into our hearts. A living, loving relationship with the Lord is fuelled and empowered when we feast on His Word. We begin viewing every opportunity and obstacle from His perspective. It's a vantage point that causes us to make quality, Godly decisions, that lead to breakthrough, prosperity and His promises being manifest in our lives. As a result, His desires become our own and we walk willingly and joyfully in His perfect will. This is how we live for His kingdom, and see the benefits overshadow and overflow everything we do in this life.

Futility of Self-Sanctification
Christless ‘Holiness’ The pull I feel with regard to holiness is really just one version of a common temptation: to try to live the Christian life without Christ. To replace discipleship with technique, worship with emotional hype, communion with a list of rules or spiritual practices. It is a startling fact that we can become experts in the Christian life without growing any closer to Christ. The religiously minded have always been drawn to such Christless “holiness.” We see it in the Pharisees, those walking tombs of men, washed white on the outside while the bones of the dead rattled within (Matthew 23:27). We see it in the false teachers at Colossae, who boasted of “self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body” while their flesh enjoyed a feast (Colossians 2:23). And many of us see traces of it in ourselves. My own proneness to pursue Christless “holiness” was exposed recently as I asked myself (through the guidance of a wise saint), “How many books have you read about holiness and the Christian life?” And then, as I was still counting on my mental fingers, “How many books have you read about Jesus himself?”
Of course, holiness based on mere tactics and discipline is no holiness at all, no matter how shiny it looks on the outside. Self-sanctification is a better name for this pursuit, and for those whose spiritual nerve endings have not been fried, it is as miserable as it is futile. Much of the time, self-sanctifiers simply fall into the same old pits over and again. Powerless as a branch apart from the vine (John 15:4–5), they cannot withstand the allure of the second glance, the third episode, the fourth drink. They are paralytics commanding themselves to walk. Many of us can still feel the ache from the repeated falls and bruised resolves. In fact, there’s only one thing worse than failing at self-sanctification: succeeding. Paul gives us one of the most vivid portraits of “successful” self-sanctifiers in Colossians 2:16–23. With an iron will, they carefully keep their list of regulations, most of them self-imposed: “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch” (Colossians 2:21). They deal harshly with their own bodies in order to whip their lusts into submission (Colossians 2:23). They seem spiritual, even mystical, talking of angels and “going on in detail about visions” (Colossians 2:18).

Yet consider one modest proposal for welcoming his ongoing ministry to that end: when you sit down to read, pray, or hear God’s word, do not settle for anything less than communion with the living Christ. There is no equation here. Only something far better: A Savior who is always ready to visit with us, commune with us, and show us his glory. And, in doing so, to make us holy as he is holy.

God cannot move in a person’s life who wants everything to always be the same. Someone who does not want to fight for their breakthrough, pray and fast for their healing and deliverance and especially someone who complains against Him whenever He attempts to get them out of their comfort zones in order to elevate them. Un-comfortability gives birth to longsuffering, perseverance, resilience and endurance which helps us when pursuing our purpose. God knows in order for us to be sustained while living for Him we have to know how to handle pressure and frustration. If we do not learn how to manage uncomfortable learning curves in our lives we will not be able to master our current season which will lead us to repeating cycles just like the Israelites. The Israelites wondered for forty years in the wilderness since they were indecisive about trusting God. Their journey to the promised land was only supposed to take a few days however, their unwillingness to yield to the new thing God wanted to do delayed them.
It’s okay to be shaken when God speaks to you about the major moves He has planned for you but, it’s not okay to run from Him because you feel uncomfortable. Trust that even though where He is taking you is bigger than you could have ever imagined, He will not let you face it alone. Perhaps you are the first entrepreneur in your family and you feel overwhelmed, be still and let God show you how to work your way through it. He will send you mentors and coaches who will equip you. Maybe you are the bloodline breaker in your family, you’re different and you don’t know how to deal with all of the spiritual attacks. Pray and ask God for guidance , purchase books and watch videos on how to combat spiritual warfare. We are going through an international pandemic and clean hands are an absolute must to help us steer clear of COVID-19. But we also need to cleanse our hearts. We need to wash our hands in public, but we need to clean our heart privately. The pandemic has caused us to really examine how much of God is in our lives and our homes when we do not have church.

Final Thoughts We can’t keep dirty hands and dirty hearts and expect the Presence of God to be a part of your life. Ask God to cleanse your hands and your spirit. Some of you have picked up some things during this pandemic that are more deadly than COVID-19 because it is infecting your spirit and you have to get clean again. Even the language you use, if it is filled with profanity, it needs to be cleansed. You can’t climb that holy hill with filthy hands and an impure heart. Commit to being back in church again. The most dangerous time for the church will be when the restrictions are lifted. So many are adrift and need to get back into church and into His Spirit. It’s time to cleanse your hands in the blood of Jesus. There is power in the blood. Purify your heart by simply offering it fully to God with no reservation. God has so much for you and your future, but it starts and ends with the Presence of God in your life.
6. Make sure you prepare yourself to touch the presence of God. Guard your heart and your mind. Don’t take the presence of God for granted. 7. Anyone who is going to serve God must wash their hands before returning to service. As you return from the pandemic restrictions, don’t come with your gift of service to the Lord with dirty hands. Cleanse your hands and purify your hearts. 8. Clean your hands and purify your heart, and God’s presence will come. You are asking for the Presence of God, but He will not touch dirty hands.

Deuteronomy 28:14 “God wants to teach you about giving so that you can teach the Body of Christ.” Those words stayed at the forefront of our minds in the amazing months that followed that night at the pizza parlor. Debbie and I were wide open to anything God wanted to teach us. And, as a result, we saw God work wonders of provision over and over. Sometimes He would prompt us to trust Him and give. Other times, He would use someone else to bless us unexpectedly. For example, not long after that life-changing night, Debbie and I were at an in-home Bible study where we spoke with a couple who was about to leave on a missionary trip.
They had asked us to pray for them before they left. They particularly requested prayer for their finances. “We don’t quite have all the money this trip will require,” they told us. They did not mention the amount needed but, as we prayed, I had a strong impression that the amount was $800. At that point in our lives, $800 sounded like a very large sum of money. But we had it, because of the amazing tenfold blessing we had received at the pizza place. That night, we were able to walk out to our car after the meeting and write a check. We caught them before they drove away and handed it to them. Of course, it was the precise amount they needed to be able to take that mission trip. Frankly, it was the most exciting thing I had ever done. We were quickly beginning to discover how thrilling it is to be able to give when God tells you to do so.
Within the next few weeks, we had the encounter at the gas station I related in the last issue. Shortly after that, we went out to eat with a man who had just purchased a new van. We all rode in it to the restaurant and were talking about how nice the van was and how excited for him we were. When we returned to his home, he said, “Help me get my stuff out of my van,” so I began to gather up his cassette tapes and other items he pointed out. After several trips, I asked, “Do you even want that umbrella out of there? And, by the way, why are you moving all this stuff inside?” is response was, “Because I’m giving you the van. But I need my umbrella!” “Excuse me?” I asked. He repeated, “I’m giving you this van. God told us to.” Naturally, we were awestruck, grateful, and thrilled. The brandnew van had a value of more than $25,000! Of course, that blessing raised another question. Now that we have this van, what do we do with the station wagon? It wasn’t much to look at, but it was good, reliable transportation. After some prayer, we felt the Lord instructing us to give the station wagon to a family that we knew didn’t have a vehicle. Almost immediately, someone we didn’t even know gave us another vehicle! “God told us to” was the familiar explanation. After more prayer, we gave that vehicle away as well. Son, another one arrived to replace it. And then another one. And another one. Each time a vehicle landed in our driveway, we would give it away. And each time, another one would show up to take its place. In the middle of this amazing sequence, God did something that, at first, puzzles us. In the case of one of the cars we were given, our prayer for direction brought this instruction from the Lord: “Don’t give this vehicle away. Sell it.” At first, we weren’t’ sure we had heard God accurately. Seeking confirmation, we said, “Lord, are You sure You want us to sell this vehicle? We certainly have enjoyed giving them away.”
The clear reply came back, “No, I want you to sell the vehicle. I want you to sell it for $12,000.” At church that weekend, a man walked up to me and said, “Hey Robert, would you like to sell that van?” Somewhat startled, I said, “Yes, as a matter of fact, I believe I’m supposed to sell it.” The man then said, “I think the Lord wants me to give you $12,000 for it. Is that acceptable?” Of course I sold him the vehicle. The very next week we were scheduled to go on a mission trip to Costa Rica, so we put the $12,000 in the bank, awaiting instructions from the Lord on what to do with it. A few days later, we found ourselves in Costa Rica riding in a dilapidated old van owned by the missionary we were there to assist. I was genuinely concerned about whether we were going to make it to our destination. At one point, I asked the missionary, “Why don’t you buy a new van? I think this one is about to die and go to be with the Lord!” “As a matter of fact, I am about to get a new van!” the missionary said very excitedly, “Last week, I was driving by a car lot, and the Lord told me to stop. Then He pointed out a van to me and said, ‘I want to give you that van, so I want you to pray over it’; so I did! I don’t know how the Lord is going to give me that van,” he continued, “but I know He will!” Sensing the hand of God, I asked him, “How much do they want for it?” I’m sure you have already guessed the answer: $12,000. With great joy, my wife and I were able to write the check for $12,000 as soon as we got home.

If Christ is not risen, then we have no hope of ever gaining entrance to heaven. There is no reason to rejoice. But today (and every day), I am thrilled to celebrate the fact that we serve a RISEN Savior, and His name is Jesus Christ. He is alive and seated at the right hand of God the Father. And because He lives...so shall we live forever and forever in heaven with Him, as servants of the Most High God.
He is the victor over death, hell and the grave. He is triumphant over every power and principality. He is the Lamb of God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. He is the Lamb that was slain from the foundations of the earth that we might serve Him, and have a life filled with abundance. The Friday before the resurrection was originally called Black Friday. It seemed like all hope was lost. But because of the exceptional display of love on Calvary’s Hill, we are heirs and joint heirs with Jesus. He took our sins upon Him and redeemed us. The Friday before the resurrection seemed bleak. No victory was in sight. But on that Sunday...on resurrection Sunday, we can say, “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? (1 Corinthians 15:55).” Can you imagine the faces of the women who came to the tomb on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, to bring the spices they had prepared to lay on the body? The stone had been rolled away, and the (borrowed) tomb was empty. They were certain that someone had stolen the body and then they heard this powerful message: “...Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen (Luke 24:5-6)!”
Can you imagine the impact of that statement? He has risen! In that moment, the world was given a Savior. In that moment, we were redeemed. In that moment, we were set free. Jesus Christ paid the full price of our sins. We are no longer slaves to our past. We are no longer shackled by heavy burdens. For whom the Son sets free is free indeed! What looked like the worst day...turned into the best day. It was the darkest night before the brightest dawn, as man was given the gift of eternal life. It was a gift we will never be able to repay.
So, what are you doing with that gift? Are you sharing the Gospel message with others? Are you telling those around you that JESUS SAVES? The tomb is empty! Christ is RISEN! That is the greatest message that Christianity has ever heard. One day very soon, we will be called up to meet our Savior face to face. What a day that will be! Are you ready? If not, get your house in order. Don’t miss out on the greatest gift ever given to man because you have believed the enemy’s message that there is plenty of time left. No man knows the day or the hour. While we celebrate a risen Savior, we prepare for His triumphant return with every fiber of our being. Make today count! Make your voice heard. THE GREAT JUDGE In Luke 18, Jesus told of a story about a widow and a judge – a story that held a powerful lesson on God’s righteousness and desire to see His children answered and blessed. In the story, there was a city judge who was not a God-fearing man. In that same city, was a widow. The widow had approached the judge seeking intervention. The judge did not give in to her request for some time, until one day, he said “… though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me…”
Jesus went on to say, “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” It is comforting to know that within a country, there are earthly judges who are experienced and trained in the legal world to preside over matters in order to bring justice and relief to those who have been wronged. Yet, as believers, it is even more comforting to know that there is a Great Judge who is the Maker of Heaven and Earth ready and willing to hear and answer us when we call to Him.

An earthly judge is one who executes his duties and responsibilities in line with the Constitution, and other legal frameworks of a country. So how does the LORD execute judgments? According to HIS WORD! The Bible says in Psalm 138:2 that The LORD has magnified His Word above His Name! His decisions and answers are just, merciful, filled with truth, and is perfect- just like His Word! An earthly judge should possess characteristics like integrity, honesty, have a heart for the truth, and wisdom! Our Heavenly Judge possesses these characteristics and so much more! The Word of God says: Isaiah 33:22 – The LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our King, He will save us. 2 Peter 2:9 – The LORD knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations.

Many Christians today are so much consumed on punishing and exposing false pastors, are always looking for the next pastor to blame for their misfortunes and punish. Many churches have destroyed pastors more than anyone would realise today. According to statistics, everyday approximately 100 Pastors quit Ministry and every month at least 10 commit suicide. What many don't realise is that you will also be individually held accountable on how you treated God's Servants. Pastors are called and gifted to you by God, illtreating them is a direct insult to the God who gave them to you as a Gift.
How would you feel if you gave someone a car, and they instead decide to burn it because it didn't have fuel or it had a tire punch..? Wouldn't you not be angry and demand that they pay you back because of their ungratefulness? We all get sad when we see people treating our gifts without care. Then imagine how God feels about the Church and Christians today who have destroyed many Pastors and caused a lot of injuries...? The reality is, there are more true and genuine pastors than false, but because of the evil hearts of the people they glorified the false and focused on the wrong, now they left thinking that all are the same.
Because of this, they have destroyed even true Shepherds. As I'm talking to you right now, there's a pastor somewhere wounded, betrayed, neglected and hurt whilst trying to serve the Lord with nobody to cry to or bind his wounds many have lost their lives, their families, their livelihoods and peace in the work of God, in the battle for souls. Yet the same Christians who got saved by a message from God's Servant will finish off that wounded soldier and destroy him/her so he never rises again. How many Pastors have Christian Churches destroyed today? Imagine if the tables can be changed, instead of focusing of the false pastors we focus on false Christians who have abused and destroyed God's Servants.
The Lord has given me a burden to speak to our fellow Shepherds and Pastors in the field, they are struggling and wounded. Nobody wants to understand and lift their hands. As it is written: "beat the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered". We will protect our shepherds, we will lift our undervalued, despised and neglected voices and watchers over our nations and communities.
Pastors the Lord Jesus Christ sees your every effort, it is not forgotten or taken lightly, you are highly appreciated in heaven and never think our King does not care or see your Sacrfices and your pain. SHEPHERDS ARISE, ARISE AND CONQUER, ARISE AND PICK THE SPEAR, YOU CHOSEN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.

The love of God is amazing, He loved us all and chose us before we even knew Him. And for the record, there's nothing you can do to make God love you less. Because His love is a gift that none of us worked for. Before we can continue any further, I want you to know that you are loved by God and you are precious to Him.
Out of love God gave, His giving was purely on love. How I wish we get a deeper meaning of this, then it can also influence our act of giving. God willing I'll share with you about giving some other time, now we are looking at the "Priceless Gift" from God. The scripture above says whosoever believe in His will have "eternal life". What Jesus came to give us is beyond what we can see. He came to give everlasting life. Our salvation came through Him, we are assured of everlasting life because a gift was freely given. Jesus said in the book of John 14:6, "I am the way and the truth and the" LIFE".

JUMP ROPE TO JUMP START YOUR HEALTH JOURNEY I started the year 2021 with a new mindset! I knew that if I wanted to achieve overall health (emotional, physical, spiritual etc.) I needed to change my mindset. Change my mind about how I see myself, how I see health, how I see beauty and how I see God. I can definitely attest to that being the greatest decision I could have done for myself.
Having a renewed mind has assisted me in seeing the transformed me coming into fruition. It has also removed all the stress that comes with being anxious about my health or trying to fit into a certain mold, created and presented by the media at large. For exercise I decided to try Jump rope,
inspired by the phenomenal Mapula Legodi (Her Instagram name is @mapula_legodi – for some more inspiration) who lost a whole lot of weight using jump rope. I did some research on those who have used jump rope as a means to lose weight and stay fit. What I found out made the idea of using the jump rope even more attractive.
This month marks the second month of jumping rope and it has been a truly exciting journey. Not only have I lost weight but I have also become more active. I have now incorporated jump rope in all my workouts. I started out with a 1000 jumps a day and now I can get to 5000 jumps with much determination. I know in the coming months I definitely will push the numbers. I want to share with you why I think you should start Jump rope to Jump start your Health Journey, that’s is if the goal is to put in the cardio work in order to lose weight or keep fit. 1. Convenient You literally can take a jump rope anywhere, simply place it in a suitcase or handbag and you basically have your “gym” with you everywhere you go. Take the jump rope with on a vacation, a work trip, or overnight visit. The jump rope literally can fit in any bag, unlike most exercise equipment that take up much space and are heavy. 2. Affordable exercise equipment An entry level jump rope can cost between R70 - R150. It can be purchased at most sports stores whilst the digital ropes which are very cool as they keep record of the number of jumps you do, as well as calories burned and km’s covered per jump rope session can be bought at a reasonable price too. To increase intensity try the weighted jump ropes. THE HEALTH & FITNESS
3. If space is a limitation, then look no further One does not need much space to jump rope. A small corner in your bedroom, the space in your pavement outside the house, a kitchen, sitting room or even a passage can turn into a “gym”. 4. Not much coordination needed Most exercises are not so easy to master or do, as they require a lot of different movement which can be daunting for someone who is trying to kick start they weight loss journey. The basic jump rope move simply requires your feet to jump up a few inches from the ground. 5. Burns calories A quick 15 minutes’ session of intense jump rope can burn between 200 -300 calories. This is often more calories than other exercises if performed in the within a certain amount of time. 6. Reduces injury risk Unlike other means of exercises there is little risk of injury when jumping rope as opposed to running, cycling etc. 7. Improves heart health Nothing like a 15-minute session to get your heart pumping. It has been proven that jump rope is good for people who might have cardiovascular problems as it improves the amount oxygen one uses whilst working out. Quick guide on how to Jump rope – For beginners 1. Don’t use an actual rope This sounds funny but actually works. Use an imaginary rope in the beginning to get your mind and body used to the idea of jump rope.
2. Get the RIGHT kind of rope Ensure you have a good and strong rope made of the correct material. If the rope is too weak, then the rope won’t go through your feet as you jump and it might cause issues. 3. Ensure adjustment of rope is correct Stand straight on the midpoint of your rope (feet slightly apart). Hold the rope up tightly and ensure the handles reach to your armpits. A MEMORABLE MEAL Take just about any significant or memorable event in life, and chances are good there is a meal involved in some way. Something about eating food together creates a bond between people. And perhaps because when we eat we are utilizing so many of our senses at once – taste, touch, and smell – the event, whatever it is, is branded in our memory. It is a night of solemn observance to the LORD for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the LORD, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations. EXODUS 12:42

A SOLEMN MEAL God perfectly understands this phenomenon, and so we should not be surprised that He commanded the Israelites to eat a meal before they left Egypt (see Ex. 12). Called the Passover, this meal was a memorable part of God’s wonderful deliverance of His people from Egyptian bondage. For this momentous meal, an unblemished lamb was sacrificed in each household. The blood of that lamb was sprinkled over the doorway of the home. As the lambs were roasting with bitter herbs, the Lord moved through the land of Egypt executing judgment. Homes that displayed the blood of a sacrificial lamb on their doorposts, He passed over.
This Passover meal became an annual festival for the Israelites. For generations to come, Hebrews ate unleavened bread and roasted lamb and were reminded of what God had done for their forefathers on that fateful night in Egypt. More than merely looking back, the meal also pointed forward to an even greater deliverance God would perform. Over fourteen centuries later, Jesus Christ would come to earth as “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). He would be “without blemish,” or without sin (1 Pet. 1:19). He would be sacrificed for our sin (Heb. 10:12). His blood would be applied to our consciences (Heb. 9:1122). Is it any wonder that Paul identified Jesus as “Christ, our Passover” (1 Cor. 5:7)? The night before He died, Jesus gathered with His disciples to celebrate one last time the great Passover feast. As they ate, they remembered their nation’s physical deliverance from Egyptian slavery. Then Jesus called the group’s attention to an even greater spiritual deliverance that was imminent. To help them (and us) remember this wonderful gift of salvation, Jesus instituted a new and different memorial meal of simple bread and wine. Called the Lord’s Supper, communion, or the Eucharist, the meal points to the Cross, the Resurrection, and all God does for us. There we have the ultimate expression of God’s infinite mercy and love.
A SOLEMN REMEMBRANCE Typically, Christians do not celebrate the Passover. But Christians do partake of the Lord’s Supper. The next time you hold that piece of bread in your hand, think about the Passover meal. You stand in a long line of people who have tasted the deliverance of God. And as you sip the grape juice, remember that it is the precious blood of Jesus Christ, “your Passover” that saves you from the slavery of sin.

Of course this was bad news for those who exploited and gained from the misery and oppression of others. When we go about causing change through preaching and demonstrating the pure Word of God, resulting in signs, wonders and miracles, just like Jesus and His early followers did - we can expect the same reaction. Understand, we carry power and authority to enforce the devil's defeat over people's lives and it will not come without resistance. Effectively living for Christ requires steadfast faith that pushes past resistance. True change and victory only comes by those who fearlessly and unapologetically stand for the truth of God's Word. They relentlessly push back evil to see people set free and living the full life Jesus died for us to have. So make your stand today; push past resistance and be counted as one who follows Christ.
