New Museums in Athens:

The Goulandri Foundation is a hidden gem in an Athenian neighborhood called Pangrati. Basil and Elize Goulandri were art patrons who owned a huge collection of authentic works. For the first time, their collection, valued at $3 million, is on exhibit. It includes priceless pieces from some of the most famous Greek and international artists.

The brand-new National Gallery just reopened its doors after a big renovation project. It is devoted to Greek and European art from the 14th to the 20th century and includes both a permanent collection and rotating temporary exhibits.
