What are the new product offerings by Honeywell Fire Safety?

We have launched high end public address and voice alarm system –VARIODYN D-1. The response is quite positive so far. We have three installations including one of the largest airport of India on Variodyn. For mid market segment we have X-618 (Public Address and Voice Alarm System) from Honeywell. X-618 along with Honeywell Amplifier and Speakers offers solution for most of the commercial building application. We have also launched FAAST loop based models and that along with the existing range of Aspiration System allows for very early fire detection technology for applications such as Data Centers, Hospitals and Hotels. FAAST aspiration system is getting good response and has already been installed in varied applications including Telecom companies, Data Centers, Warehouses and Airport.

What are the growth prospects for Fire Industry in India?
As far as fire alarm market is concerned we are experiencing good growth in India. Growth is primarily driven by improving customer awareness
and present low penetration of Fire Alarm in India. The awareness is catching up and people have started to understand the value of fire alarm and life safety in their premises. Hence customers are looking for quality products and good brand rather than only focusing on the cost. Over the past System Installers have also started to play a very serious role by continuously pushing the boundaries in various projects by adapting latest technologies that would result in better fire safety & provide their customers with advance solutions for existing problems. All these factors put together are generating healthy growth in our portfolio. We have also launched the whole suites of Public Address & Voice Alarm solutions as well as Aspiration System (FAAST). All in all we are going through an exciting phase.
