Exciting Touring Theatre Eastern Angles will visit Brandeston, Woodbridge, Sudbury, Bradfield and Garboldisham in October with a new Out Of Joint production.

Suffolk Libraries, in partnership with Creative Arts East, has announced new events as part of the innovative new project which is bringing quality theatre and exhibition events to Suffolk communities using the latest digital screening equipment.‘Suffolk Libraries Presents...’ is an Arts Council England funded project being run in seven of the county’s libraries with the aim of bringing more Suffolk residents into contact with the arts in a familiar and accessible local venue. Nationally and internationally acclaimed performance and exhibition events, will be screened in Stradbroke, Felixstowe, Ixworth, Gainsborough, Hadleigh, Lowestoft and Capel St Mary

Jane Wenham – the Witch of Walkern is written by Baftawinner Rebecca Lenkiewicz. Set in Hertfordshire, the story is inspired by events during the 1700s. Local woman Jane Wenham is blamed for a tragic death and accused of witchcraft. The play deals frankly with female sexuality and the expectations on women in society. Artistic Director Ivan Cutting said: 'This really is a fantastically gripping and exciting piece of theatre, and we are thrilled to be able to offer the production to our local audiences.'

Examples of the performances expected to be on offer between October 2015 and April 2017 include the Globe Theatre’s productions of Julius Caesar and The Comedy of Errors; well-known ballets such as Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake; and unique, commentated tours of exhibitions featuring artists such as Matisse, Rembrandt and Van Gogh.
