Cork star Paudie suffers horrific injury

CORK GAA fans were unanimous in their wish today that star hurler Paudie O’Sullivan makes a swift recovery from a horrific leg injury that he sustained last night during the course of Imokilly’s senior hurling championship clash with CIT at Carrigtwohill. Paudie suffered a broken leg in the seventh minute of the game and was removed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital where he was being operated on today. Imokilly secretary and Cork PRO, Tracy Kennedy, told the Evening Echo that the thoughts of Cork GAA fans everywhere were with the star forward who, she said, had shown great commitment to line out with divisional side Imokilly in the championship campaign. “Paudie is a wonderful ambassador
