GSD appoints IDAS as official distributor
Wireless security specialist GSD is pleased to announce the appointment of IDAS as an official distributor of its standalone and networked security products.
IDAS is a privately owned specialist security distribution company established in 2008. With an experienced team IDAS bring extensive experience to installation companies through pre and post-sales support. IDAS has offices, demonstration facilities and warehousing in Dundrum, Dublin 14.

Originally completed in 1992, the university-owned and managed Plassey Village complex was entirely refurbished in time for the 2011 academic year. VISION tracks all attempts to access any housing unit, giving residents at Plassey Village the same level of comprehensive security found in the university’s academic buildings. Furthermore, the installation of VISION allows Plassey Village student residents to gain access to facilities throughout the campus with the same card that operates their residential locks. The VISION system is based on a robust and advanced client server SQL database, ensuring fast and reliable operations and preventing the system from crashing in the event of a single terminal outage.
