Al贸dem Fragile skin types with a visible web of capillaries are particularly sensitive and reactive to environmental hazards and to heat, alcohol and smoking. There are a limited number of care options for this skin type. Vaso-dilatants should be totally avoided, as should the use of any occlusive or too active preparations. The primary goal of an effective care program for this condition should be based around strengthening the walls of the capillaries with soothing, cooling products. The first in a new series of products, Myrtle Mask is a velvety, hypotonic cooling mask for calming sensitive skin with broken capilliaries (Couperose). Spreading easily to give an immediate calming, soothing sensation, this mask does not dry on the skins surface and is easily removed after 10-15 min. of rest. May be used by itself on oily skin. When used on normal to dry skin, a supplementary day moisturizer or night cream is also recommended.
A calming gel mask especially designed to cool, sooth and relieve skin redness. Ideal for couperose skin, sunburn, or as a complementary soothing treatment following salon peels and hair removal. A wealth of polysaccharides - Sodium Hyaluronate; Saccharide Isomerate (Pentavitin), Aloe Vera and Mallow intensively hydrate the skin with moisture. Organic Jojoba wax prolongs the moisture retention by reducing the evaporation rate from overheated skin. Calming botanical extracts of Marigold, Honeysuckle, Paeonia, Coneflower and Green Tea sooth the skin, significantly reducing discomfort within 15-20 minutes.
