Director's Chair Many of you attended Americade 2015, and enjoyed one of the sunniest Americade’s ever! That’s two years in a row with great weather, and hopefully many more to come. And with such fantastic weather, by Thursday, Friday and Saturday it appeared that most of the northeastern motorcycling community decided to come to Americade! Wow! For those of you who didn’t attend, you missed a doozy. Americade 2015 had many new events and rides, a new expo, and a big-time concert for the Friday Night Celebration by Tour Master. With so much new stuff, our goal was to make sure all of them went off without any hitches (most did). From your questionnaire comments we learned that: • The new expo was liked by all: “beautiful,” and “love the $10 coupons” were among some of the most common comments. • The free & fun rider training at the"Riding Skills Rodeo & Challenge" was popular (and will likely be returning in ‘16) • The concert was loved (more chairs will be provided next year) • We had the “best dinner ever” at the Friday Night Celebration • MiniTours were well liked and for '16 we have plans to keep them fresh & to alter the prize process for you. As always, our greatest challenge is making the next Americade bigger & better than the last, and I’m happy to say that the Americade Team is very excited about 2016. We’re about to launch some biggies (details pg 12): • For those of you who attended our Colorado Americade’s wayback-when, you’ll see one of THE highlights there appear at Americade 2016. • If you liked our MiniTours, then you’ll LOVE our '16 MiniTours. Nearly every one is receiving tweaks, changes and upgrades, making them perhaps the best we’ve ever offered. • Do you like all the information Americade University provides, but don’t want to spend your time at Americade being inside? We have a solution for you in 2016. Stay tuned (literally). • While we love all that modern motorcycling offers, we also love seeing the forefathers of today’s motorcycles. At Americade ‘16, we’ll have a great collection of vintage bikes on hand for you to see, hear and admire. • Finally, we’re embracing one of the fastest growing parts of the motorcycling family - Adventure Motorcycling. They are, after all, just like us, but desperately in need of a bath (the bikes, not the riders). Many of us have a touring motorcycle and an adventure bike. At Americade '16 we'll be adding a whole set of attractions for both of them. Now, go to the garage and hug your bike. Ride Safely, Christian

Looking back on 2015 is great fun...and we'd like to share those memories with you. The pages within are a scrapbook of sorts...so sit back and enjoy the memories. Ameri-week started out with much anticipation as thousands of pre-registrants rolled into town to pick up their packages at Americade Registration located at Holiday Inn. In a bid to win a fabulous prize later in the week---many took advantage of the early start collecting stamps for the Scavenger Hunt. Others checked-in at one of the many amazing places to stay in the region---then made their way over to Americade's HQ at Fort William Henry for all the Opening Day Events. The rest of the week was packed with non-stop action and new venues, activities, routes & events. Some, but not nearly all, of the daily highlights included:

• Tuesday: Americade's Expo MUCH improved venue MiniTours (Guided, Unguided & Selfguided) • Wednesday: Cruisin' Lake George on The Beatles Boat Professional Rodeo & BBQ • Thursday: Comedy Show Beach Party Festival of Lights • Friday: Friday Night Spectacular with food, music, awards, prizes, fireworks & more! • Saturday: Party in the Park with food, music, prizes & more! Famous artists at the Americade Concert Series.

As part of the many sponsored events & activities, Major & Daily Door Prizes, and special drawings...over $80,000 in Prizes were given away throughout the week...including $20,000 and a motorcycle! There was so much going on during Americade...this list doesn't come close to covering it all. Check out the following pages to read all the details---learn more about the prizes won, the places visited & the sponsors who helped us get there.

Opening Day Events

Opening Day isn't just about rolling into town and getting settled for the week. Americaders---first timers & seasoned attendees alike got to town early and took part in all the fun on Monday...starting with the Newcomers' Meeting where newbies got the lay of the land and hot tips to fill out their Americade Experience. Garmin gave these folks a thrill by giving away a great Communications System. Immediately following the New Comers' Meeting; ticket holders stopped by FWH's White Lion Room for Dinner by the Lake hosted by RoadRUNNER. They enjoyed a delicious Bourbon Street Buffet while overlooking Lake George---The Queen of American Lakes. For folks who missed this amazing meal & great prizes from the host, there was a second chance on Tuesday night right after the second Newcomers' Meeting on Tuesday evening. A few steps away was one of---if not the---best Opening Celebrations ever! The grounds of Fort William Henry were buzzing with excitement as folks found their way to the huge party tent and settled in with the sounds of The Trio ensemble with Rick Bolton. An Americade favorite---The Real McCoy charmed the crowd and brought down the house with his breathtaking circus stunts and lightning fast wit. The folks from Rider Magazine were on hand for one of the most anticipated parts of the evening...and they didn't disappoint with the $7500 in Door Prizes they brought from these generous contributors: Bridgestone Tires Cardo/ScalaRider Continental Tires Cortech Dowco Inc. Dunlop Tires Metzler Tires Michelin Tires Nolan Helmets Olympia Moto Sports S-100 Cleaner Spectro Oils Tour Master Whitehorse Gear Yuasa Battery

Additionally, every winner at The Opening Celebration received a copy of Rider Magazine's Contributing Editor Clement Savadori's new book "No Thru Road".

Charity Poker Run AM

AW

But the real benefit was being able to contribute to some worthy charities. This year 1000's of Americaders participate in Poker Runs, Judging, Rodeo & BBQ, and The LG Rotary Cash or Motorcycle Drawing. Part of the proceeds from these events go primarily to Local & Regional Charities. Below is a list of just a few we've been proud to help this year.

Scavenger Hunt Starting Monday morning folks explored the roads around the Lake George Region, Adirondacks, and neighboring towns in a quest to fill their Scavenger Hunt playing card with stamps from participating businesses. Each player received a map with the names of 3 businesses in 10 communities...the challenge was to find the towns, find the signs at each business, and collect at least 8-10 stamps before 3 pm on Friday for a chance to win a ScalaRider Q3 Headset at the Friday Night Spectacular. This year's lucky winner was Damian Oates of Alexandria, VA. 8

This year we expanded the traditional five-card poker to "Seven-Card Stud"---thus giving players slightly better odds at winning. Not to mention the more roads to ride on the expanded 120 mile route.

Riding Skills Rodeo

Sunny day, skilled instructors, enthusiastic participants...and, a bit of a chance to show off to all your friends. Michael Gentile, Jim Tate, Shane Eckert, and Jeff Stone shared their knowledge and skill to help others become better riders. And the best part, it was FREE! Look for it again in 2016.

Folks had three days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) to stop by & join in the fun at the Fort William Henry Demo Area. The Riding Skills Rodeo was a great way to spend the afternoon learning tips & tricks to maneuver on the open road, around corners, and in some tight situations.

9

MiniTours... VT High Gaps We chose the new "Freedom Pass" as it gave us the flexibility to ride at our own schedule. We ate at 2 Brothers in Middlebury which was wonderful! Gary Winn Feeding Hills, MA

Amish Tour The Amish Tour was amazing and the food was fantastic! I LOVED the farm experience and interactivity. Melissa Hagberg West Milford, NJ

What could be better than the open road, interesting sights, and two wheels to cruise? Folks at this year's Americade found out in style! Taking a day (or more) to enjoy routes, destinations & meals on one of the many MiniTour options was a highlight to the week. Door Prizes from the 8 Generous Sponsors only added to the fun! If you're one of those folks who likes to spend your ride time enjoying the beauty around you, not navigating...Guided MiniTours were just the ticket. Every morning Beach Road was buzzing as thousands of pre-ticketed riders assembled with designated groups to head out on the day's adventure. There were 5 Guided MiniTours to choose from and they all had something unique to offer on the road and at the destination; as well as a fabulous catered meal at a fun venue. Folks were accompanied by a team of experienced guides who knew every curve, dip & scenic rest stop along the way.

10

www.americade.com

An Americade Speciality VT Covered Bridges My girlfriend had no motorcycle experience until this spring. I chose a Guided Tour because I wanted to try a group ride rather than riding solo. She loved it. The guide's knowledge of covered bridges & local history was great. Steve Grenier Merrimack, NH

Shoreline & Fine Dining I have been coming to Americade since 1983. The food at the Red Mill restaurant was absolutely the finest and the tour guides were excellent! Richard Thomasson Newport News, VA

For those who enjoy marking the miles and following a route map on their own, or in small groups--- Unguided MiniTours offered less structure to the day while still providing fabulous destinations and amazing meals. Throughout the week, riders were provided with skillfully crafted maps to use (or not) as they made their way along some of the most interesting roads the area has to offer. Two of this year's Unguided MiniTours had sumptuous buffets awaiting the arrival of hungry riders...while the third maximized the riding and gave folks the Freedom Pass; which allowed them to choose from 3 great restaurants along the route. Self Guided Tours were an opportunity for those who enjoy the flexibility of exploring on their own. Folks were given a custom, oversized (25" x 19" ---on weatherproof paper), full color map showcasing 5 memorable routes surrounding the Lake George region. Each route highlighted scenic photo ops, suggested stops & restaurant recommendations. Every registered attendee received this free gift courtesy of RoadRUNNER Motorcycle Touring & Travel magazine!

Beach Party The surf was up for Thursday night's Beach Party at Fort William Henry. Perfect weather, amazing food & great music have quickly made this an Americade favorite. The atmosphere was perfect with cool breezes coming off the lake, tiki torches, a scrumptious Hawaiian BBQ, and fun music from Joey Pucci and the American Longboards. Joey & the gang charmed the crowd with their Beach Boy like sounds---enticing folks to get up to show off their "Surfer Style" moves. Scala Rider caught the wave and joined the party with cool vibes and lots of great prizes. After the party, folks had an easy stroll over to Towers Hall for the Comedy Show.

Plan Ahead for 2016

Clear your calendar June 6-11 and come to Lake George for more, more, more..motorcycle fun! • Dirt Daze is an opportunity for folks to work with the professionals and hone their Adventure Riding skills. Then put those skills to the test on a closed course. For those who want to bring it to another level---we'll head out on some of the best (and least used) roads in the area to explore some REALLY out of the way places! • After a day of wrangling with your steed, we'll have an authentic Chuck Wagon Dinner with a plateful of cowboy grub, campfire music, and a down on the range atmosphere. But wait---there's more... • New Musical Line-up for the Americade Concert Series. • New MiniTours to get folks doing what they love most---RIDE! • Fireworks Cruise that provides the Best Seat in the House for the Friday Night Spectacular pyrotechnics display. • New Boat Cruise with an ice cream stop along the way! • Hundreds of Motorcycle Vendors at Americade's Expo • And, SO much more! 12 Check the website for details! www.americade.com

Stunt Shows

Pat Smage, of NBC's America's Got Talent fame and the current 7 Time National Pro Trials Champion, drew in the crowds wherever he performed during Americade. He entertained folks throughout the week with his gravity defying repertoire of stunts at 3 locations: Americade's HQ Fort William Henry, Americade's Expo and on Saturday during the Sensational Saturday Blues & BBQ at the Festival Commons at Charles Wood Park. Everywhere he went the crowd was awed by his ability to ride up near vertical walls, jump big gaps and do full speed stoppies---right up to some pretty delicate territory. He also performed 180 degree helicopters, low speed wheelies, and endless array of balance skills. Not only is Pat an amazing trials rider & performer---he's an all around good guy...stopping to take selfies with fans, sign autographs & share riding tips with folks when asked.

13

Factory Demos

There's absolutely nothing that compares to putting rubber on the road. Especially when you've been waiting since last year to try out the new models from your favorite manufacturers. Americade was the best place to try out the most bikes in one week! Americade's HQ at Fort William Henry hosted Can-Am/Spyder, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Motor Trike, Road Smith, Suzuki, Thoroughbred, Victory, and Yamaha---where thousands of riders rode out every day for a thrilling demo ride. Shoei Helmets were also on hand to help folks get the right fit on their helmets. They were even welcome to take one out for a spin. Hannigan Motorsports and CycleWise Ducati of VT were on-hand at Americade's Expo to show off a wide selection of motorcycles. Americade was the place to make a decision on the Best Ride for you.

Breakfast by the Lake

Piping hot breakfast, cheerful staff, and the promise of an exciting day---all great ways to get an Ameri-morning started on the right side of the road! The Fort William Henry staff put on a fabulous Breakfast Buffet in the White Lion Rm. The menu included French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, fresh baked pastries, beverages & more! It was the perfect place to meet friends and fuel up before heading out on a MiniTour, Demo Ride, or down to Americade's Expo for a morning of shopping.

17

Cruisin' La

Cruisin' Lake George on one of Americade's 6 specially chartered Dinner Cruises was not to be missed. Each 2-hour cruise set sail from the foot of Lake George and headed north along the open lake, by hidden coves & through magnificent bays. Ameri-cruisers took in the splendor of stately turn-of-the-century homes, the quaint charm of shoreline bungalows with matching boathouses, and the rustic allure of Adirondack style camps.

George

The stunning scenery wasn't the only highlight of these excursions...the food was bountiful and delicious. Folks had a choice between a Gourmet Dinner Cruise with Beef Carving Station, Chicken Parmigiana, Fish in Dill & Cream Sauce, with all the sides, dessert & beverages, or the always popular finger-lickin' fried chicken, with all the fixins', dessert & beverages.

Not to be outdone by the food---The Beatles Boat Cruise was a hit with all aboard. Folks were raving about Stage 2's tribute performance of The Beatle's songs. Honda, McDermott's H-D, Tour Master & Yamaha outdid themselves as hosts---they contributed thousands of dollars in door prizes and mingled with the crowds.

Made new friends on the cruise & the food was excellent. Thanks for a great time! Steven Barnes - Dallas, GA

As a Beatles fan since 1964, I've seen many tribute-band performances and Stage 2 was one of the best ever! This was one of my all-time favorite Americade cruises! Fred Peck - New City, NY

Americade's Expo

Starting bright & early Tuesday morning, Americade's Expo opened the gates at the new & improved vendor area at Million Dollar Beach. Folks were lined up at the front gate to get their first peek at the amazing make-over, check out the merchandise, and look for some deals. Americade's Expo was the place to find all the best motorcycle "Must Haves" for customizing your machine. The Expo was over flowing with a Quarter Million Feet of the latest gear, accessories & services...in many cases folks were able to drive in and have the professionals do installations, tune-ups & inspections of their new equipment. Participating vendors offered a $10 Rebate on Goods &/or Services over $50. This was an amazing opportunity for Expo Shoppers to get more & do more with their money at Americade. The Food Court had plenty of food & beverage vendors ready to serve up some Good Eats for hungry shoppers...everything from Pizza & Burgers, to Crepes & Salads, to Root Beer & Lemonade, and much more. After getting some grub, or while waiting for services & installations to be completed...folks were wowed by champion trials rider Pat Smage as he performed in an arena adjacent to the food court throughout the week.

20

Free Motorcycle Parking and the Coat & Helmet Check were available at Father Jogue's Park---conveniently located on Beach Rd right in the middle of all the action! Americade's Expo, Headquarters & Concert Series venue were all within a short walking distance of where folks parked for the day and stored their gear so they wouldn't have to carry it around while exploring all there was to do & see in Lake George during Americade. www.americade.com

Charity Rodeo & BBQ

Have attended the rodeo many times & enjoyed them all. Norman DeCesere, Orrington, ME

Brought friends for the 1st time; they enjoyed it tremendously. Andy Camiolo, Fresh Meadows, NY

The evening was open to all. Ticketed Americaders enjoyed a finger lickin' BBQ of slowly smoked BBQ Chicken & Pulled Pork, traditional sides, and dessert. Folks who showed up without a ticket were able to purchase a Rodeo Only ticket, grab some grub at the concession stand, and join the crowd cheering for the professional cowboys & cowgirls as they competed in Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Bareback Bronc Riding, and more. Rough Riding is something these folks know a bit about. Baggers & Motorcycle Cruiser Magazines teamed up with Americade to soften a different kind of rough ride for some deserving individuals. Part of the profits from Wednesday's Rodeo & BBQ benefited the Prospect Child & Family Center. These folks provide excellent care for those who were dealt a tough hand in life and are too disabled to live on their own. 22

Comedy Shows It's easy to see why Alonzo Bodden, NBC's Last Comic Standing, is an Americade Favorite. He's always charming and ready to riff with the audience about everything from the motorcycles they ride, to the places they've been, to what's happening in the world. Alonzo, an avid motorcyclist himself, didn't give folks a chance to catch their breath between the laughs. He kept up the fun in his performances at FWH's Towers Hall Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Alonzo surprised us all by stopping by the Friday Night Celebration to pick up the Long Distance Award---which he earned by riding all the way from Los Angeles just to perform at Americade. Saturday was such a wonderful day at the beach that he came to Americade's Expo to do a Meet & Greet with the folks down there. It was great to have Alonzo hang out all week and folks had the opportunity to meet one heck of a guy. On all three nights Yuasa gave some "powerful" Door Prizes to folks in the audience.

Americade University

The Americade University offers interesting and entertaining topics ranging from "How to Pack for Your Next Adventure", to "Understanding Motorcycle Suspension", to "Cornering for the Street Rider", to "How to Avoid a Ticket"...the list goes on and there really is something for everyone to learn!

With learning in mind, Ameri-U has partnered with Schuberth Helmets to encourage folks to join in on some of the seminars throughout the week. The incentive this year was a Schuberth Full Face Helmet! To enter to win participants were given a Raffle Card at the beginning of the week. They then had to have their card punched for at least 1 Seminar & 1 Featured Speaker, fill out the back & drop it in the box. We drew for names for a winner on Saturday---Bob Price - Cary, NC was the lucky one!

Featured Speakers Clement Salvadori Contributing Editor Rider Magazine

Florian Neuhasuer Senior Editor RoadRUNNER Magazine

Dr. Gregory Frazier Motorcycle Adventurer, Author & Moto-Journalist

These three gentleman have many interesting things to say about the sport we all love. They've taken a passion for the open road and turned it into a calling they share with others. When looking at a map of where these fellas have been on a motorcycle...they've gone just about everywhere on the globe two wheels can tread. We wouldn't be surprised if at their next visit to Americade they share stories about the few places they haven't yet been. Folks who were able to catch one or all of their talks on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday evenings came away with a better idea how to make a memorable journey happen for themselves.

Dr Greg Frazier is a very engaging presenter. Paul Donoghue - Hewitt, NJ 30

I spent most of my time at the seminars. They are what makes this rally so unique. Jeff Vey (Motor Trike) was the most memorable seminar I attended this year. Quintin Johnson - Portsmouth, VA www.americade.com

I really enjoy listening to Holly Ralph about Solo Touring. She is an inspiration for all, not just the women. Christine Orris - North Haven, CT

Fashion Show

From head to toe, the Ameri-Models showed folks that the latest styles are hip, trendy & fun...and that getting set up with the right gear isn't a boring chore. On Tuesday evening, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Indian, Tour Master, Victory & Yamaha turned up with oodles of fashions for the show...everything from Cool T's to Leathers, Jackets & more! Fred Rau introduced the fashions & contributors while keeping the crowd entertained in style. Folks were excited to learn that many of the very same fashions on stage were being contributed as part of the thousands of $'s in Door Prizes! Had a great time!!!! Sandy LaPlante, Marlbough, NH Always a great time with Fred and Nora. The comedy they provide, even if unintentional at times, is as good as the quality of prizes! Bill Krystan, Penfield, NY Fantastic! Becky Torres, Nuevo, CA

If you haven’t yet reserved accommodations, try these tips: • Check out the Accommodation Guide on the preceding pages. • Don’t just call the first few places in the guide; they tend to get called the most. • Call the Chambers of Commerce who advertise here for recommendations. • Many small hotels don’t open up their reserva tion system until April, so a call then will often have success and a lower rate. • There are many small towns within a 25 minute ride and they tend to have more available space and lower rates.

Americade Concert Series

Folks got together for an unprecedented two night musical event on Friday & Saturday evenings in the Festival Space at Charles Wood Park, Lake George. Friday was all about Americade's big night of partying, awards & prizes... mixed in with music & fireworks. The evening kicked off with the Stony Creek Band's blend of country, rock & bluegrass; which blended nicely into the classic rock sounds of The Audiostars. The evening wrapped up with the best Eagles Tribute Band in the US----EAGLEMANIA! By the time Saturday rolled around folks were primed for a good time. There were five fun bands on the roster for the evening. The exciting dance party band Funkalicious drew the crowds in for the first part of the show. The Lazy Suns followed up with their alluring mix of country, rock, pop & mountain music. When the Matt O'Ree Band took the stage, folks turned on to the electric blues groove and settled in for the rest of the show. Citizen's Band Radio brought their country-fried rock to the stage and tuned up the crowd for the evening's headliner-Aaron Lewis. Aaron took the stage under a starry sky and got the show started with a patriotic nod to the troops on the ground overseas and here at home. He then turned up the volume with a powerful, vibrant & unforgettable show. The Americade Concert Series was a lot of fun and we're excited to do it again in 2016!

Festival of Lights

Everyone loves a parade...last year's run through Lake George Village was such a hoot we decided to do it again. This year the route was a loop beginning at Americade's HQ-Fort William Henry, running the length of Canada Street, and back to the Fort for a Fire Juggler, Balloon Glow, and Functional & Decorative Light Contests.

Friday Night Spectacular

FUN FUN FUN

New venue, new chef, a new menu...and lots of groovin' tunes (with 3 Bands), awards, prizes & fireworks made the Friday Night Spectacular the biggest event EVER! The all new Festival Space in Charles Wood Park, near Lake George, was the perfect space to pull together such a large group for an evening packed with fun. The action got started as soon as folks parked their bikes and walked through the gates. Dinner Ticket holders enjoyed a catered feast with tequila marinated chicken, grilled marinated flank steak & much more. While dining, the north country's own Stony Creek Band set the tone for the evening. Nearby, People's Choice Judging was set up for folks to vote on their favorite bike of the week. There were some beauties (check pg 45 for results). After Dinner & Dessert, the gates opened for wristbanded Americaders so they could find a place to settle in for the evening of Awards, Door Prizes Drawings & more music. Over $30,000 in prizes were handed out, including the Grand Prize: a '15 Harley-Davidson速 Dyna速 Low Rider速. The Oldest, Youngest & Long Distance Class winners were awarded trophies & prizes from the evening's host---Tour Master. And, the People's Choice winner, Charity Poker Run, and Scavenger Hunt winners were announced & awarded more prizes! More Music rounded out the evening as The Audiostars took the stage with their Classic Rock sounds and party-goers danced on the lawn. During intermission, a spectacular Fireworks display exploded over Lake George. As if that weren't enough---EAGLEMANIA, the best Eagles tribute band in the country, played out the evening as folks grooved under the stars. This was an evening to be remembered and a Must-Do next year!

Sensational Sensational Saturday was picture perfect. The day kicked off early at the Geico Get Up & Go Breakfast held at the Lake George Firehouse. Folks piled their plates with plenty of French Toast, Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs & more. After getting their fill at breakfast, folks made their way to Westbrook Rd for the Dunlop Parade line-up where Judging for the Funniest Outfit was taking place. This year's awarded was in memory of Steve Mickle---a Red Knight, and long time enthusiast of the parade & all things Americade. Parade participants tied festive yellow balloons to their motorcycles and tuned into Froggy 100.3 so they could carry the parade music with them. A collection for the Lone Survivor Foundation was made during the Dunlop Parade and at the Party at the Park. From donations made Saturday & through T-shirt sales during the week, we were able to donate to the Lone Survivor Foundation--- a worthy charity for soldiers living with PTSD. The Party at the Park was ready to rock as the first bikes pulled up immediately following the parade. The Matt Mirabile Band entertained folks as they watched Pat Smage warm up his act by performing some pretty hair-raising stunts. The Lake George Rotary was dishing out mouth-watering BBQ and Ben & Jerry's of Lake George gave out free ice cream to the first 1,000 partiers! Folks settled in with their food and got ready for the Saturday Major Door Prize Drawings---the odds were in their favor to win one of the great prizes being given away! See the next page for a list of prizes & winners. The party wasn't over when the BBQ & prizes wrapped up. Folks had the whole day to shop at Americade's Expo, take in one of 2 Un-guided MiniTours with Freedom Pass Meals, jump aboard the McDermott's Harley-Davidson Boat and cruise Lake George, see if they won the LG Rotary Cash or Motorcycle Drawing, get some laughs at the Comedy Show...and finally end up back at the Festival Space for the final night of the Americade Concert Series. WOW! What a SENSATIONAL day!

Best of Show

Best of Show Judging is a competition between the winners of each class (seen on opposite page) throughout the week. The pool of contestants consists of the Best of the Best. There's a reason this fella looks familiar. He always brings a show stopper to Americade...and, usually brings home a saddlebag full of prizes! 2015 was another banner year for Rocco! Not only did Rocco Zagari win Best of Show with his 2003 Honda California Sidecar Trike. He also took home top honors in the Trike/Sidecar/Spyder and Decorative Lighting-Computer Classes. As if that wasn't enough...he also totes around the cutest Stuffed Animal around!

People's Choice

The people have spoken & nobody's gonna deny...William Ruth's 2008 Honda Goldwing, representing the Civil War, is a thing of beauty.

The Blue & The Gray is a steady steed indeed. For the second year running, he's brought home a trifecta of awards from Americade Judging; this year he'll be adding these to the mantle: • People's Choice Award • Trailer Award • Decorative Lighting-Standard We can't wait to see what he'll be adding for next year's competitions!

Lake George Rotary Winner David Johnson of Halifax, MA was the lucky winner of this year's Lake George Rotary Charity Drawing.

By taking a quick look at the picture, you might think David chose the Harley-Davidson. But look again...he's sporting the brand new 2016 HD Ultra Limited. David took the $20,000 cash, traded in his other bike, and got himself a more deluxe model. Keep an eye out for this guy next year...with a beauty like that he may give William Ruth & Rocco Zagari a run for the awards! 45

Americade's

When musing about life, folks often wonder: Is it the journey, or the destination, that matters most? Rolling Thru America Tours are a thrilling way to discover the answer. These tours are typically a 4-day affair designed as an exclusive opportunity for an intimate group (limited to 100 guests) to explore some of the best touring roads in that year's location(s). Not only are the roads fantastic, folks also enjoy high end accommodations, amazing meals & access to places they might not visit if they were on their own. This year we visited two spectacular locations in search of the answer to that age old question. Rolling Thru Pennsylvania was a "return by popular demand" for folks who were bummed to have missed the 2014 tour. The few remaining spaces were snapped up by returning participants who couldn't get enough of historic Gettysburg, the pastoral colonial settings, and the lush, rural valleys of the Allegheny Mountains. The group received a private tour of famous battle grounds, rode along little known curvy secondary roads, and dined at outstanding locations while enjoying memorable meals. The Rolling Thru New Hampshire tour proved to be the perfect combination of great roads, amazing destinations, scenic vistas, mountain lake panoramas, sunset boat cruises, and highly satisfying meals & lodgings. Those who joined us in the White Mountains were treated to a thrilling ride over the Kancamagus Highway, several gaps & passes through the White Mountain National Forest, a lakeside ramble around Lake Winnipesaukee & several other lakes in the area, and last but not least---fantastic meals at picturesque locations including an elegant lunch at the famous Omni Mount Washington Resort! So what's the answer---Journey or Destination? Rolling Thru America folks will tell you it's BOTH!

Friday night's Downtown Rutland Block Party at the end of the Grand Parade hosted thousands for music, dancing, food & more. Saturday was the big KC Mountain Celebration with rockin' sounds from Live at the Fillmore & the Duane Carleton Band and an impressive Bonfire & Pyrotechnics show---it was a "not-to-be-missed evening. It didn't matter if your scene was to kick back & chill, ride the roads with friends, or compete for prizes---fun was had by all!
