It is with much anticipation and excitement that we welcome you back to the Ranch for our 11th Annual C Diamond Production Sale! We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the Sale at the Ranch last year and appreciated the ease of the video auction format. We hope you did as well! Despite the ups and downs of the current market cycle, we are enthusiastic about the future of the beef industry and continue to invest in and move forward with the best Simmental genetics that we can find. We feel the future of the industry will reward those that seek to breed well balanced, high performance cattle with superior carcass traits. We love the Simmental breed for the versatility and functionality it offers. They really can do it all! The 2017 seed stock offering is powerful in phenotype, sound structured and backed by an exceptional EPD profile! We have a large group to select from and many new outcross matings! New sire groups include WS Prime Time B6, TJ Main Event, and W/C Executive Order! By heavily utilizing embryo transplant, we’ve been able to propagate progeny from our top cow families with many full and half brothers selling this year. We’ve also decided to offer an elite group of bred Registered heifers. Whether you are looking for your next donor prospect or just adding productive females with leading pedigrees to your operation, these females will not disappoint! Fifty red and black open heifers out of the heart of our commercial herd will also be sold! The commercial heifers are sired by C Diamond bulls. The sale format will again be a video auction with the bulls being penned right outside for convenient viewing. You will have the option to bid in person or online through DV Auction. We have a wonderful team of reputable sale reps available to assist you if you are unable to attend. We invite you to visit the ranch, located just 10 miles south of I-94, exit 208 on Hwy 3, to become familiar with the sale offering. Allow a little extra time to inspect the dams and other related bloodlines. We offer a $100 sale day credit good towards the purchase of a bull to anyone visiting the ranch between January 1 and February 20. Videos of all the bulls will be available online early in February on dvauction.com. We will post a link on Facebook and on our website as soon as they are available. We hope to see you on February 22! The bulls will be on display by 9:30am and coffee, donuts and breakfast snacks will be available. A complimentary lunch will be served from 11:00am to 12:45pm!
