PROJECT DESCRIPTION • Milling, resurfacing and realigning. • Construction of 4’ paved shoulders. • 8’ multi-use path (“Mobility Plan” project – developer funding). This project is a milling, resurfacing and realignment of SW 63rd Blvd./62nd Ave. from Archer Rd. to Williston Rd. with the addition of 4 foot paved shoulders. Per the Board direction on May 18, 2010, SW 63rd Blvd./62nd Ave. will be financed (loan) along with NW CR 231 and NW 16th Ave./23rd Blvd. this summer so that design can begin immediately. The project was originally to be funded through a pay-as-you method. This project will be designed and constructed by private contractors. Special considerations will be given to multimodal facilities, stormwater quality and quantity, and canopy tree coverage. Design and construction funding for this project will come from revenue from the financing of the Nickel Local Option Gas Tax, per the Board direction on May 18, 2010.
