Where Runway Trends Meet Community Vibes

Colorado Springs is about to become the center of attention for fashion enthusiasts as the city prepares for its inaugural Colorado Springs Fashion Week (COSFW). From June 24th to July 1st, this week-long extravaganza promises to showcase the vibrant and growing fashion scene in the region. With an exciting lineup of events, including fashion crawls, a daytime vendor market, and a spectacular runway show, COSFW is set to captivate locals and visitors alike.

COSFW founder Jaime Taylor, a twenty-year veteran of the fashion industry, expressed her excitement at bringing this fashion week to Colorado Springs. "We have an amazing line-up of designers, and we can't wait to showcase their collections on the runway," she said. The event presents a remarkable opportunity for both established and emerging designers to exhibit their work and garner attention for the city's fashion community.

Attendees will have the chance to immerse themselves in the city's fashion scene during the three "fashion crawls" held on June 26th, June 28th, and June 30th. The fashion crawls will take place in Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, and downtown Colorado Springs, respectively. These outdoor events, running from 5 pm to 8 pm, are free and open to the public, allowing everyone to explore the local fashion offerings and discover new designers.

One of the highlights of the week is the daytime vendor market scheduled for Saturday, July 1st. From 10 am to 6 pm, attendees can visit the market, which will feature Knob Hill Urban Arts and its talented artists, designers, and boutiques. This vibrant market will offer the opportunity to support local vendors, experience the art scene, and savor delicious fare from some of Colorado Springs' finest food trucks.

The grand finale of COSFW will be the much-anticipated Runway Show on the evening of Saturday, July 1st. Starting at 7 pm and running until 9 pm, this event will present a diverse range of designers and their latest collections. The runway show promises to be an unforgettable experience, complete with approximately 20 photographers, a red carpet, step and repeat, and local celebrity personalities in attendance. After the runway show, the festivities continue with an after-party hosted by CO.A.T.I, ensuring that the night concludes with a bang.

Colorado Springs Fashion Week not only celebrates creativity and diversity but also supports humanitarian and philanthropic causes. The event's mission is to inspire creativity and promote social and environmental responsibility within the fashion industry. By attending COSFW, participants will not only revel in the colorful culture of COS but also contribute to a more equitable and sustainable future. COSFW invites everyone to embrace the passion for fashion while embracing the spirit of community.
