Here’s the story behind the name:Established in 2002 with a team whose experience spans over 25 years we are a UK based company who design and engineer innovative bathroom and kitchen products. We now manufacture well over half a million products a year, all specifically designed for the UK market. We work very closely with our network of manufacturing partners to deliver high quality, design leading products, all of which we aim to achieve without the big price tag. FUNKTIONALITY assured All Abode products use the finest components, from silky smooth valve cartridges to our anti splash aerators at the end of the spout – all are designed to improve the experience of using our brassware. These small things might not be immediately noticeable but add up, collectively to make a good design, great.
VALVE CARTRIDGES All Abode car tridge designs are tested for over 200,000 cycles before we will pass them for use within our taps. Why? Well this means that under normal use conditions your tap valves have proven that they will work for many years to come.
water efficiency We recognise we all have a responsibility to do our bit towards water saving, so we give you the choice to decide what’s best for you. All our products can be either installed with flow restriction valves, therefore regulating the flow to a maximum of 6, 8 or 12 litres per minute or you could choose to opt for a flow restriction aerator which will regulate up to 3.8 litres per minute… the choice is yours.
FINISHING QUALITY We use traditional ar tisan hand polishing techniques which ensure perfect blemish free surfaces and crisp edges. Our hand treatment does not end there – we even use hand plating on some ranges. Yes we know it’s more expensive to do it this way, but it means that the finish is richer, the plating deeper and ultimately more durable.
LUXURY PACKAGING After taking all this care with the product, we want to ensure they reach you in perfect condition with all the par ts that you will need for a seamless and straightforward installation.

Thermostatic showers have long since been increasing in popularity in the UK, but when thermostatic regulations came into force there were, and still remains, very few options available. As the showerhead becomes progressively blocked with limescale the flow rate will reduce, by simply rubbing the jet nozzles, calcium deposits flake away restoring showerhead performance.
RIGID RISERS For complete flexibility and adjustability, all Abode rigid risers allow the overhead shower to adjust in height and to swivel 180˚.
thermostatic safety Abode thermostatic showers are manufactured to EN1287 & EN1111 design guidelines. All thermostatic showers have an automatic anti scald shutdown mechanism as standard that will become operational if the cold water supply fails, eliminating the chance of scalding.
shower hoses All Abode showering products where applicable utilise the latest smoothflex hose design, ensuring an anti-tangle, easy to clean, anti-fracture solution… what more could you ask for.

In order to help you select the right shower valve for your needs, we have highlighted below the four main types of showering valve available with a brief explanation of their features, choose the one that suits your needs the best and then turn to the page to see what family of styles that product is available in. All Abode concealed thermostatic shower valves are supplied with a superior brass back plate as standard providing that all important finishing touch and feel. WATER PRESSURE GUIDE To ensure you achieve the best possible performance from your chosen brassware or showering product, you need to be able to identify your existing plumbing system and therefore your water pressure. The following information provides a general overview on water pressures and a guide to ensure you choose the right product for you and your home. If you have ‘LOW WATER PRESSURE’ you should take care to choose a product that is suitable, otherwise you might find that the flow rate is poor. It will be difficult to achieve a mixed temperature. If you have ‘HIGH WATER PRESSURE’ you can choose any product with the same or lower pressure requirement. As a general guide only, when connecting multiple products you should work to the product with the highest pressure rating. Throughout our brochure we have highlighted by each product, a simple key outlining whether the product is low pressure (LP), medium pressure (MP) or high pressure (HP) along with stating the minimum pressure required to achieve the best result. The following diagram explains the pressure required for each level. Please note all products marked LP and MP are also suitable for HP water systems.

All working par ts, valves and decorative surface finishes are guaranteed for a period of 5 years from purchase. O rings are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase provided that our advice concerning care has been observed and no scouring agents have been used. This is provided that the product has been used for normal domestic purposes and that the care, installation and maintenance instructions have been observed. The warranty extends to the original purchaser only.
