Sea Fury and the 75-year-old Spitfire. The 2011 airshow takes place August 12, 13 and 14 at the Abbotsford Airport, 30440 Liberator Ave. Events run from 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

HOLMBERG HOUSE On May 6th, 2011 the Ministry of Health and the Abbotsford Hospice Society announced that the first adult hospice residence in Abbotsford will be named in honour of Dave Holmberg Jr. who passed away at the age of 48. The 30,000 sq. ft. residence will have ten private bedrooms, each with an ensuite and a private balcony overlooking the gardens. Family members will be welcome for overnight stays and home-cooked meals will be prepared onsite and served in the dining room. The quiet room, living room, sanctuary, library, and gardens will provide patients and families with calm and peaceful spaces.
