Oundle School and Laxton Junior School

Oundle has long been associated with the very best of modern independent education, especially boarding. We are a school with a full boarding ethos and this is one of our greatest strengths. For boarders, this offers a wealth of opportunity across a seven-day week, with a full and varied weekend programme. We are a big School with a big heart and whilst our size may seem daunting initially, it is carefully mitigated by the secure, smaller havens of the Houses and tutor groups. Every boarding House is home to those who live and work there, staff and pupils alike, with all meals taken together in House dining rooms. Laxton Junior School is a thriving, independent co-educational day school, with 260 children aged 4 – 11, in the beautiful market town of Oundle. Our aim is to provide the best all-round education for every child in our care.
