York Jazz Scene Issue 3
August 27, 2009 yorkjazzscene 4 other publications
Hot off the press, it's the latest edition of York Jazz Scene, the only magazine dedicated to the jazz community in York! So what can you expect to find in this issue? Interviews with Dennis Rollins, Julian Arguelles and Chris Batchelor, a number of gig and album reviews, introductions to some of the young musicians from the next jazz generation, plus a global scheme, with items spanning across Seattle, to Scandanavia, to South Africa! With 43 pages of high quality material, it's the longest (and, we hope, the best) edition yet! This also happens to be the last issue under the Editorship of YJS-founder Anna Lacy, who leaves York at the end of September. If you would be interested in continuing YJS' mission of: 'promoting jazz musicians and serving their supporters', contact Anna: yorkjazzscene@googlemail.com
