June 2012 From Innovation to Reality Aim of the event: The overarching aim of the event is to support emerging leaders in the adoption of relevant and current innovation and good practice in the Region. The approach to this event is one of identifying common challenges amongst emerging leaders and then seeking out innovation that would help to meet those needs.
Draws on Barry Oshrey’s insights into leading complex organisations Benefits Increase initiative, commitment and responsibility across your organisation. Strengthen your capacity to create resilient partnerships: up, down and across organisational boundaries. Address the root causes, not just the symptoms, of misunderstandings, communication problems and conflict. Spot and shift dysfunctional patterns of behaviour in yourself and others that result in underperformance. Develop coordinated and entrepreneurial leadership at the middle level of your organisation.
