I have always had a flair for drama and colour, as anyone who has known me for a long time will testify. Neon, fluoro, metallics and sequins make up 80% of my wardrobe and wearing five colours at once means I’m not wearing enough! Okay… maybe a slight exaggeration, but you get my drift. I believe colour should not be put away when the colder months start, with chilly mornings making citrus green pants and fuchsia blazer combos seem like nothing more than a distant memory. Colour, instead, should be celebrated and worn all year ‘round! Here at XF we wanted to inspire you all to stay fabulously colourful day to night and so we present to you our autumn edition, Welcome To Chaos! For cool casual midweek drinks I would head to Varnish on King Street, not only for their drinks menu but their amazing dinner menu! My little secret bar nobody knows about is Halycon Bar down Wolf Lane in the CBD. It’s great for after work drinks as only a short stroll from my office, which is handy and dangerous! I’ll always order a dry vodka martini with extra olives! For a big Saturday night we’d usually start with dinner and drinks at one of the many bars/restaurants in Brookfield Place in the CBD, then if in the mood for a dance we’d go to Luxe or back to a friends for Wii karaoke and Just Dance! I love to grab dinner at Bread In Common, Fremantle. My favourite city in the world for nightlife is New York… the city that never sleeps! Nothing gets you around faster in New York than a big g yellow cab! When I dress up to go out at night, comfort always comes first! I like a minimalistic look with statement accessories, s, a great neckpiece, bag or heels and a good red lippy! My go-to boutiques for going out clothes would be Shopbop, Net-A-Porter, Asos. As you can tell, I’m a bit of an online shopper!

For cheeky midweek drinks we love going to Laneway Lounge in the CBD. A little secret bar we always head to would be Kitsch Bar in Leederville.

I pretty much live in my skinny leather pants in the colder months, but typically whenever I go out, I’m a jeans and heels kind of girl.

When we’re out, a sweet simple lychee liqueur mix is always a go to! For a big Saturday night we’d get a private karaoke room in Hits Studio, Northbridge, where we can sing our hearts out with friends, food and drinks. Best place for fine dining is Nobu at the Crown.

Our favourite city in the world for nightlife is Tokyo! The only thing better than the people is their eclectic and individual dress sense. Fast cars and Tokyo nights go hand in hand. Our night-time dress style is either very sleek, dark and elegant and or something chic but also a bit edgy. When shopping for something dressy we go to Chateau Boutique in Shenton Park and Merge in Subiaco.

A new, up and coming place for a drink (or 10) is Hangout Bar in Como. Best undiscovered bar in Perth is Secret Free Parking in the city... but now I’ve told told you, I’ll have to kill you! I can’t ever go past a delightful Gin and Tonic. For a big Saturday night out, I’ve been going to The Manor in Leederville, The Claremont Hotel or my mates house in Ardross, all equally as crazy. Best dinner in town is The Old Crow in Northbridge! Everything there is almost too delicious! My favourite city in the world is for partying is London! Nightlife is always insanely good and its bars have free pour vodka and VIP tables! Cruising around London in a mini cooper is cheaper and faster than public transport and just so British! My dress style is always a mixture of high fashion and street wear, day or night. Whenever I need new threads I check out Cabinet Noir on Shafto Lane in the city. It has to be one of the best new apparel stores in Perth, hands down! What would you wear on a typical night out? A good pair of skinny jeans, a slightly oversized cuffed t-shirt and some boots.

For casual midweek drinks, I’d head to La Cholita in Northbridge. Best sangria in Perth. My little secret bar nobody knows about would be The Cabin, in Mt Hawthorn. Ok, not so secret, but it’s constantly overlooked because it’s in Mt Hawthorn so I think you all need a refresher!

If there is an amaretto sour on the menu, you can be guaranteed I’ll order it. Mmmm my lips are getting all tingly just thinking about it! Top place for a big night out would have to be Lost Society in the city! If you like old school R&B, then it’s definitely the place to be. Tastiest dinner in town would be Big El’s in Northbridge. It’s Latin American fusion and the deep fried pupusas are a must! My favourite city in the world for nightlife is LA! Such a melting pot of cultures and personalities, you really don’t know where the night will take you in that city. Driving around at night in a white hummer is soooo LA! My style is pretty fun, colourful and eclectic but at night I definitely let my inner latina run a bit more free with more risqué pieces. My go-to fashion boutiques for night looks are ASOS and Topshop for fun trend pieces, Green With Envy for something a bit more fancy, Poppy Lissiman and Neon Pony Vintage for accessories and Sole Struck for shoes.
