Cream! And there will be lots of it! While more than 100 flavors have been created and tested by Velvet Ice Cream over the past 110 years, there are currently 45 flavors available.

Two brand new flavors are being introduced this month and will be featured at the Sertoma Ice Cream Festival. In fact, for now, they will only be available at Ye Olde Mill. First, the Butterscotch Brownie brand has baked brownie pieces mixed in. The other, Peanut Butter Parfait, will be a peanut butter ice cream with marshmallow swirled within and filled with chocolate-covered pretzel bites.

A brand new interactive performance by the Dogs of Ohio will show their expertise through obstacle courses. These world-famous agility dogs run through tunnels, leap over jumps, and fly through the air! This unique stunt-filled show will be featured on Saturday and Monday at noon and 1:30 p.m.

To better control the long lines and waiting time, a second location will be set up during the festival called Dipsville to serve your choice of ice cream. All flavors are the same price, according to Mitchell. All you must do is choose the flavor.

All proceeds from this festival go directly to the Utica Sertoma Group, who use the funds to assist senior citizens, schools, and the Utica community.
