Enjoy Free Spring Break

Explore Pine Bluff for a weekend getaway that the entire family will enjoy. If you’re looking for experiences for your kids that blend education and fun, the Delta Family Adventure Trail includes plenty of fun activities for the whole family—and nearly all of them are free! So you can delight the whole crew without breaking the bank!

Go outside and enjoy Pine Bluff’s nature trails, rivers, lakes and bayous. They offer an abundance of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. You can play in the parks or along the waterways. Enjoy a picnic lunch, paddle a canoe on a lazy bayou, or let the kids run on the trail around Lake Saracen.

If your family is more indoor inspired, you’re in the right place. Spend a day at the Delta Rivers Nature Center, Arkansas’ first nature center located in Pine Bluff’s Regional Park. On the center’s 130 acres, stroll on nature trails, see wildflower areas, and view native wildlife. Indoors, find exhibits featuring Delta wildlife and history, aquariums stocked with native fish, and a gift shop. For more information, visit www.DeltaRivers. com. Admission is free and open Tues.-Sat. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Sun. 1-5 p.m.

Indulge your artistic side at the Arts & Science Center of Southeast Arkansas for engaging, interactive children’s exhibits and programs for the entire family. Special events are ongoing at the ASC, so check out their website https://www.asc701.org/ before you go. Enjoy the production of Steel Magnolias if you are visiting the weekends of March 10-12 or 17-19.

Don’t be surprised if it takes more than one trip to experience everything the Delta Family Adventure Trail has to offer.
