Webb’s is proud to present this stunning catalogue of artwork by artists who exhibited with the renowned artistic circle, The Group. From 1927 to 1977, The Group provided an alternative exhibition platform to the long established tradition of yearly exhibitions by conventional art societies. It attracted progressive artists, predominantly from Christchurch, but also from further afield, who were increasingly embracing modernist approaches to art.
