“I hope we can be your safe place! Moms deserve so much!“ -Cheyenne Day

One of the ultimate struggles of being a parent is determining what wants to be sacrificed in order to entertain your children. Whether it’s tuning into Coco Melon instead of watching that new episode of 90 Day Fiancé, or turning down lunch invites because you’re worried that rambunctious little one will be anything but restrained, there seemed to never be an option that catered to both of your wants simultaneously. However, that is no longer the case as a newly imagined business has made its way to the Clarksville area.

Owner and operating director Cheyenne Day experienced the trials and tribulations that many parents tend to struggle with. With those struggles in mind, Day made it her mission to bring a new, and fresh, spin on traditional indoor play facilities. “Mochas & Minis was inspired by my two sons, Logan (6) and Luke (3). Being busy parents of two rambunctious boys left us looking for a family-friendly outlet for them to play. We tried local entertainment but our three-year-old was too small to enjoy any of it,” Day shared. “We thought, what could be better than an indoor playground? Even better, what could be better than an indoor playground that catered kids AND their parents so we combined play & coffee! That’s exactly how we came up with Mochas & Minis!”

Mochas & Minis is an indoor play facility and café; mixing in children’s entertainment with parent rest and relaxation. “Mochas & Minis is a family-friendly play space for children ages eight and under. Our cafe serves paninis, baked goods, handcrafted cream sodas, coffee & energy refreshers,” Day detailed. “Our play area features a toddler area as well as a separate playground for our older friends. Our luxury cafe has an extensive menu, sure to please both adults & children. The cafe is completely separate from the play area. So, if you’re enjoying a kid-free day you can still come by and enjoy a delicious mocha!”

Not only does Mochas & Minis provide a centralized space, that both children and their parents can enjoy, but they also stress the importance that child group play has on children. Day explained, “Active imaginative play is very important. We strive to bring children together in a safe environment to learn social skills as well as creative and critical thinking skills. Through play your little one can experience the world around them and how things work.”

The Mochas & Minis team is excited and hopeful about what the future of their business can bring to the Clarksville area. They aspire to continue to be a valuable resource to the local parent’s community for many years to come. “We are o excited to be such a huge source for the community. The support has been so great for our small business and we can’t thank you enough,” Day said. “Our goal is to continue to be a resource for parents, especially moms who need a place away from home to reset. We hope to bring more fun, more events & more memories to you and your families.”
