Hundreds were on hand to enjoy food and beverages, and comments from the candidate who promises to bring his vision of accountability, efficiency, and transparency to the people of Montgomery and Robertson Counties.

NATIONAL POLICE WEEK

The Run For C.O.P.S. 5K Is A Fun Run To Celebrate National Police Week With The Community We Serve

The Sixth Annual Run for C.O.P.S. will celebrate the 2022 National Law Enforcement Week with a fun, noncompetitive, fitness event for the whole family. The 5k will take place in Historic Downtown Clarksville starting at the Clarksville Police Department and going through the downtown area. This year Montgomery County Animal Control will have adoptable dogs at the event for those who wish to walk a dog through half or all of the course.

Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in this event, as are persons with strollers and /or leashed nonaggressive dogs. All participants will receive a premium dry fit race shirt if registered by noon April 21, 2022. This is not a chipped event and all proceeds will help support the local C.O.P.S. organization.

Volunteers for the event will be representing C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) which is a 501(c)3 that raises money to assist families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.

No entry fee for children 5 and under.
