The Perfect Proposal

JESSICA AND JONATHAN

Jonathan and I both worked at a local car wash in town in our younger years, not talking much or hanging out outside of work hours.

Jonathan ended up leaving the car wash for another job opportunity where he unfortunately got injured on the job. After hearing what happened I decided to reach out on a whim through Facebook to see how he was doing. He had no clue who I was at first but quickly remembered me from working together.

Jonathan invited me over and that’s when we discovered how much we had in common, we talked for hours on end. Every day after that I wanted to spend with him and getting to know him better. We discovered we both have a love for Christ, music, and photography.

We started dating soon after his injury and became a power couple almost immediately. We started a photography business here in Clarksville and the community backed us so much that Jonathan was able to quit his full time job and help us achieve our dreams.

Fast forward to 2022 and thats when the best night of my life happened, the proposal.

The evening of Feb. 2, 2022 Jonathan told me to get dressed up so I assumed we were going on a date. We headed to Nashville and arrived at John C. Tune Airport.

Early in our relationship I took Jonathan skydiving and he joked that we were going again. He had me dressed in all white and it was raining so I knew we weren’t actually skydiving but he kept driving past the hangers further into the airport.

We finally stopped at one hanger and walked inside. There waiting was a helicopter inside and Jonathan took my hand and walked me over in front of it. He then got down on his knee and asked for my hand in marriage. Of course I said yes.

He is such a romantic and planned a lovely evening. He even hired photographers to capture the moment. We took photos for a while and then got to go on a ride over Nashville.

Jonathan really outdid himself and went above and beyond. February 2, 2022 easily became one of the most special days in my life that I will always remember.
